Wow, that sounds serious. Hope it clears. Just heard that one of our main roads in the town is flooded and they spent about a year and goodness knows how much money on making it flood proof! Hope your dog is OK ?

I managed to get through - thank goodness for big cars!
It always floods around here, doesn't help that they keep building new houses on the flood plains forcing the water elsewhere.

I had to get his allergy testing results - turns out he's allergic to pretty much everything! Awkward pooch!

Just fed my cats... my cats have a makeshift bed on top of their large crate/carrier placed by the balcony glass door...

covered with curtains too so they can have a tent and privacy...

Momma cat was facing me away from the outside world, while she lays on the bed and while i fix it... when all of the sudden a white cat popped out! I gasped! It was gonna run away, i called it and it stayed, it was a young white tom, it eventually left, my cats were not pleased...

i hope it doesn’t come back or hang around because it is not safe, and i hope he stays cautious of people the same way he did to me... humans are untrustworthy....
it probably climbed from trees and wire fences that our next neighbor has because other than that there was no other way he got to my balcony...

i dont even know for how long he was there, i noticed him because he pawed at the glass door towards momma cat :/ that scared the shit out of me

I just discovered another design flaw in the house, there’s this one switch that doesn’t not open/close any light.

All lights in the house have corresponding switch... except for this one switch that idk why it’s even there.

Back in the summer I was trying to renew my passport. The original photo I submitted got rejected as they claimed part of my face was masked in shadows. I tried to explain to them that they weren't shadows but dark circles under my eyes.

My God, some people are fucking stupid. I just watched a YouTube video of an IRS scam call, where the dude was trying to get personal information out of a police captain.

First of all, he had a clear Indian accent and said his name was "John Brown". Yeah, okay. John Brown, huh? And I'm Princess Diana.

And second, when she refused to give her social security number to him, he was like, "I'll have the sheriff's department come and arrest you for drug trafficking in 45 minutes."

Right. Because they always warn you ahead of time when they're going to do that. Smh. *happyno

So many times I get dudes with Indian accents from call centres ringing me up claiming their name is "John Brown" or "Arnold Buttfinger" Normally it throws them off balance if you ask "that's nice, but what's your real name?"

Something about how my local officers have died in the line of duty "protecting me" and so I should give a "small donation". I was like, "Yeah, so here's a fun fact. I don't like you guys. And most of you don't "protect" shit except for your own asses. You have a great day, now."

What?! Damn, how stupid can they be?
I mean, that's why I go to a photographer, they're supposed to know all the rules, although there is a tiny shadow next to my nose which makes it look asymmetrical. I hope it's fine, will see tomorrow, but in my district they're pretty chill people.

I used to get that as well. Some copper asking for donations, and actually claimed I had donated the year before last one time and began to thank me profusely in the hope my ego would be assuaged enough for a dontation for that particular year. I told him there was no way I could've made a donation as I was a tight fisted bastard so that makes him a lying bag of shite.
