If you built a sufficiently large lead ping pong ball, covered the outside with radioactive material and filled it with an oxygen argon atmosphere, plant and insect life, and some insects which glow, then set it spinning out into space, could you make a self sustaining ecosystem and then just shoot earth mini-ecosystems out into the void like little balls of life?

One of the cat videos I made on Sora is playing the X-Files theme for some reason. Does this mean the cats are actually aliens?

I'm feeling bad about the maker of a conlang I'm interested in. Sonja Lang, creator of Toki Pona.
Much of her public career she's been pretty okay a person. She published solid work and engaged with the community that built up around her language fairly kindly.
Lately, though, she's made some questionable asks. A more recent book publication she's made is about some more frivolous stuff and mainly transcriptions of samples of mixed toki-pona-ish media, she's used some content from the community seemingly without asking for their permission first, and recently she framed something online as a 'game' when in fact it's meant to be featured in a book, effectively misrepresenting in order to get some more trusting folks to produce stuff she could use.
I feel worried about Sonja Lang, to be honest. I feel like I want to talk about it, but I worry doing so on a toki pona server will get me kicked.
I think she needs some time away from the world to rest and help herself. She's not bad, just making some worrying decisions. I've been where she is (though I don't recall having done this), and I for one should have stepped away and looked inward to dig up some serious damaging inner business.
I wish I could ask her to please break away from the world's addicting noise so she can find herself again.

My only consistent extrinsic reason for holding on is each member of my - forgive me for using this word - my family. Each is might, accomplished, alive, and each one has expressed that she or he would be hurt very badly if I were to make myself no longer be here.

I think we're in different Venn Diagrams though. I was musing about how difficult it is for me as an artist with extremely high sensitivity to emotions, fairness, etc., and then thinking how birds and animals have a completely different sense of life than we do.

It's not a random thought, it's a FACT. See my signature. All automation in the world was invented due to laziness to do everything by hand. For the same reason the computer was created.
Out of laziness moments ago I wrote a small script to control the browser via terminal. More precisely - to search stuff on youtube without even clicking the YT bookmark.
I just type:
$ yts lil jon bia bia
hit enter and the browser opens the YT search results page for everything that contains these four words.
