Very sad news to read. Jedi seemed like a kind and caring soul whenever we chatted. I didn't know him as well as some, but I will miss seeing his name in chat very much. Sending lots of virtual hugs to everyone affected by the terrible news. My thoughts are with you all.

Dave, I remember you showing me a podcast of early 80s/90s rap, I remember discussing dubstep with you and @RCee , I remember all the times when you were doing 30+ hour stints of staying awake (mental right?) and we all used to tell you to go to bed! I remember when I started writing poetry again and I was urging to pursue your own writing again too, I remember all the times you were offering the chat a round of hot or cold drinks when you went off to make a coffee, that was always very sweet of you, OH AND I remember when you got your new keyboard after upgrading from that terrible one you had from before, your reaction was hilarious. We didn't agree sometimes and that's life isn't it? I'm sad, I'm shocked and when I think of you, while those are only a snippet, I'll always remember the good times man.

These are amazing memories. I remember most of these! Especially the keyboard and how he threw his last one lol how funny. And always with the hot and cold drinks. I’m truly saddened by this. He’ll be sorely missed. Thankyou for sharing these

Dave was my brother and my friend. I can't believe he is gone. We where just waiting until I moved so I could have internet again and then we where going to share a beer. I'm really going to miss him.
I am never going to forget him. He was the most amazing friend I could have ever asked for.
And I promise one day we will meet again and drink beer and play pubg finally.
I'm going to miss you dude.
Where ever you are you better be catching up on your sleep.

Dave was a great human being. He was a kind soul, always ready to listen and comfort you whenever you needed, and have a good laugh with. Yes, sometimes he had his odd manners, but life wasn't easy on him either: he had fought so many battles in his life that had left him bruises inside, and still had won them all. We shared the love for writing, and often we discussed about it, our projects; he showed genuine appreciation for whatever I wrote, and encouraged me to keep on writing. Recently, he was helping me with my some stuff for my book, I know it was tough for him when we had to talk about memories of his past, but yet he offered his useful insights. Thank you Dave for the person you were, you won't be forgotten. Rest in peace.
