1. How old were you when you saw the original 1977 film that started it all? Did you see it in the theater when it was originally released? What were your first impressions?

I saw the original at the cinema when it first came out. I was 8 and my brother was 11 and we were obsessed with it.

2. What is your favorite film of the series and why?

The original Star Wars.

3. Did you like any of the prequels or post-quels? Or should Lucas have just stopped after Episode 6?

I have only seen the first three (are they still called the first three after the prequels were made?)

4. Which character is your favorite and why

Hans Solo because I had a crush on him.

5. Do you own/did you you own any Star Wars merchandise/collectibles

Not until recently when I was given a Chewbacca mask that made the noises. But I annoyed my daughter by insisting on wearing it and making the noises all the way through the film when I made her watch it. She gave it away to a kid up the road

6. Have you ever been to a Star Wars fan convention (or any sci-fi/fantasy/comic book convention)?

Nope, not my scene.

Hi everyone Couldn't wait for @JMG 's post! Not disappointed, that is quite a collection! And I love how passionate about it you are. My answers won't be particularly fascinating.

1. How old were you when you saw the original 1977 film that started it all? Did you see it in the theater when it was originally released? What were your first impressions?
I saw it when I was about 6 or 7, and I probably thought it was scary. My dad was watching it and anything related to him back then was a "nope".

2. What is your favorite film of the series and why?
I've only seen the three original ones and episode 7, and can only remember the very first film (episode 4) because I saw it several times, so... Let's say it's my favourite. :p

3. Did you like any of the prequels or post-quels? Or should Lucas have just stopped after Episode 6?
I've only seen episode 7, which I enjoyed, but not as much as the originals.

4. Which character is your favorite and why?
I like most characters in the original trilogy, they're all pretty great. In episode 7, I pick Finn.

5. Do you own/did you own any Star Wars merchandise/collectibles?
Nope. ^^

6. Have you ever been to a Star Wars fan convention (or any sci-fi/fantasy/comic book convention)?
No, but it sounds fun. I went to quite a few book fairs (in Paris and Brussels), if that counts. I love those. ^^
