The challenge of getting out of bed

#1
Mornings are always a challenge for me, as I'm sure they are for many. Before, I had things like school and work that forced me out of bed. And as depressed as I might be those first few hours I always end up perking up at least a little bit somewhere throughout the day, or at least I'm just distracted enough. But now with the virus shutting everything down I've definitely had troubles getting out of bed. It's gotten worse, I watch more hours go by everyday while I'm laying in bed. A lot of times I'm not even sleeping, I'll wake up like 9-10 am but just lay there for hours trying to fall back asleep because at least when I'm asleep I'm not sad.

Like I said, I usually perk up after being up for some amount of time but I literally have not been able to bring myself to even try. Or sometimes I do, and regret it and end up right back in bed. Does anyone have any good advice for this? Getting myself up out of bed and staying up. It's my biggest challenge these days and I'm really trying to take this time to improve myself but I'm still just sad, and struggling with even the smallest of tasks.

Same for me. I had to talk to my doctors, given supplements for it and I still am waiting for it to work. So tired.
I've considered supplements or something that I could take that might give me a boost in energy. Hope it works out for you, it's definitely exhausting. Just cant shake that tired/sad feeling

Yeah same here but I still have yet to fix the cause of the fatigue. Maybe its your meds? But I also hope you get to speak to your doc soon too. Meanwhile, I notice my body only allows to run during 2-5pm other than that its lethargy o'clock but during those hours, I do something small to boost my mood a bit at least then let myself rest. I hope you can find the hours where your body is awake to let you do something as well :)

Absolutely. I think you have to make yourself get up and switch rooms or something. I'd perfectly happily stay in bed all day, every day probably asleep if I didn't have something outside motivating me not to do that.
