I don’t know if layne would’ve heard this song that jerry had written at the time for his 2nd solo record, which was initially released as a single album 💿 in a compromise with the record label 🏷 due to slow record sales for double albums. It was then released maybe 🤔 closer to a year later in its original intended form. Nonetheless, this track — (pretty clearly about the former lead singer & very great friend of guitarist for Alice In Chains), was on that first version. Meaning, even if the release date was a couple of months past his time of psssing, ther s a chance he’d have heard it -one way or the other prior to ...? :/ [sorry song I was singing has absolutely nothing to do w/teddy p!]~*•_^
