Beautiful pictures! That caterpillar is the biggest I've ever seen lol..

I've yet to visit Montana (or the Dakotas, Wyoming or Idaho), but they are all on my bucket list..
Have you been to Washington? It's our favorite! we haven't been to Alaska yet, but WA USA the most beautiful we've lived/ visited

Yes, I've been to WA state...Seattle, the San Juan Islands and Olympic NP...it is indeed beautiful

I worked in Denali NP, AK one summer when I was in my early 20s, and it was a life-changing experience. After the resort closed for the season, I hitchhiked to the Kenai peninsula and tooled around Homer and Seward and environs for another week before flying back to Atlanta.

I really hope to get back to Denali one of these days..

Lots of good experiences shared on this thread. I wish I knew how to post some photos of my travels, but my technology skills are "old school."

This thread is a bright spot in the day.
Do you have them saved on the device you're using to access sf?

Took a hike despite air quality to see the view from a higher perspective. It isn't clearing up.
The graffiti is actually by one of the guys that painted our last bus. And, Idk if you can tell, but the rocks are an impressive circle of seats around a massive fire pit. My kids call it the "King's Circle" and we always wonder about its construction. It's a bit of a hike up there and not a lot of loose rocks like these around.

Didn't mean to post those as thumbnails. The last one is a natural staircase.
