Though it can be debated as to whether he falls under the “folk,” umbrella (as his producer would argue against!); that is the section you typically tend to find his music in at a store—provided your can still find one of those. . ;^)

This is my fav Croce song, along with a beautiful accompanying video that often makes me tear up. Considering what happened to Croce and his son(and also relationships between father and son in general)
