False, had for most of my teens for sure, but once I was 20 I thankfully didn’t have to deal with that anymore :p Lol, so funny to think that was once the ONLY way to use the net, sure come far since those days.

Most things from 20 years ago don’t feel like they are from 20 years ago.

Well I remember that it was a much cheaper way to have it, but ya I really liked not having to muck around with it anymore so I just paid more to have the better, faster kind lol. Ya I’m so glad it’s much faster these days too for sure, I remember the first time I ever heard about “wireless” too and just loving the idea of that so much lol.

Ya, now it’s somewhat better, most internet here is still bloody expensive though, even their supposed “cheap” ones, not very cheap imo :p Lol ya it’s funny how such a small amount seemed so “big” 20 years ago, sometimes half a gb seems “big” to me, but today that’s considered not much at all.

Same here for the most part, and not just “in the area” but in the whole country really lol. Hoping there will be some newer, better, and far more fair/affordable ones in the near future for sure. Seems unlikely though, most people these days don’t seem to have the brainpower to do kind things like that.

Agreed, I hope neither of us will ever have to do that again. Luckily my friend let me go to his place to use his shower, dunno what I woulda done without him being ok with me doing that though.
