It makes sense, especially how things have gone with her in the past. But I hope it gets a bit easier at some point. I'm glad you are trying to be hopeful, so am I for the first time in a long time.

It says it might take a few months for that to heal internally and that there will be scar tissue so hopefully some of it starts to heal more soon. I'm happy to hear that you do feel that way, because you deserve all of that and more.

The bandages finally came off and it's just pink around there and kind of white in the middle, but I think that's the skin glue. It doesn't hurt when I touch it, just feels kind of firm. And there's a lump in there too but it will start to form scar tissue over time and be less weird. The scar won't be huge thankfully, looks like a bit less than the size of my thumb. I know what you mean, and I had some of those guacamole chips earlier but they are hard to pass up;

It's kind of closing up so that's a good sign anyway. I have a checkup soon so the doctor will tell me if there's anything he's concerned about.
