I don't have anything planned, not even a costume this year. I kind of wish I did but I guess I can always get some things once they go on clearance.

Aw, well I had to cancel the Halloween plans with my sis cos of still being sick and not knowing whether it is getting better or gonna be worse. If it worsens in the next day or 2 then I definitely prefer to be home, plus I don’t want to make her sick. I have a cute ghost peace sign shirt I’ll be wearing, and my Halloween socks, grocery shopping and friend coming over in the eve, that’s pretty much it for plans though. I hope we can both stay feeling that way too

Thanks, I appreciate your compassion about that for sure. My sis doesn’t seem disappointed about it though so that’s helping me feel less guilty about having to cancel. My Halloween was pretty good, I wore my Halloween socks and ghost peace sign shirt when I went out, then my friend came over in the eve so that was nice too

That’s awesome, I think Halloween shirts can be worn all year round cos it’s the best and most fun holiday/celebration I only wear my ghost peace sign shirt on Halloween, but only cos I don’t want the cute pic to get crappy looking lol. If it could stay pretty much perfect looking forever then I’d wear it all the time. Sounds good about the candy, if I go out today then maybe I’ll check out the candy sales too.

False, maybe it would help my blah/hopeless mood a bit though. Really trying to improve it but I think it’s just accumulated stress about being sick for over 3 bloody weeks, sis situation and just general feelings of guilt. Hopefully things will get better soon.

Thank you, it definitely means a lot to me that you care Doing my best to not feel dread about this weekend and to just stay open to whatever the energy ends up being. It’s a bit challenging for sure, but if it ends up being kinda awkward, well at least it’s only 2 days and then we will be back home. This is kind of a hard one for me to answer. It’s tempting to simply say “no, because I’ve never seen one with my own eyes”, but there’s just too many accounts from others out there of having seen them. So I guess I do believe in them, as much as the idea kinda freaks me out lol :p

Exactly. I’ve never really done that kind of cooking for the most part, but with my concentration and patience not being all that high these days, feels like I’d have to keep notes of what I’ve already done or I might forget and mess it all up lol :p

Glad you’re feeling calm at the moment, that’s awesome and you definitely deserve that after all you’ve been through, and also cos you’re such a good, kind, caring and strong person I’m actually feeling far more calm right now than I have in weeks as well. It’s surprising in a way, cos I actually have the same amount of worries that I had yesterday overall. I just feel much stronger that I can handle anything now, somehow. Wish I could just stay feeling this way no matter what happens, hopefully someday I will have such an ability.
