I just don't like the idea of anyone having to suffer, especially when we haven't done anything wrong. I have a friend I've known since I was young and she said the same thing, she didn't understand why bad things happened all her life when she didn't deserve them. Now she is getting married to a good guy and seems happier, and I hope that things will change around for us as well. I live close enough to Canada but on the other side of the country though
I feel like you can choose your family because sometimes people who aren't related to you are closer and treat you better than those who are.

Lol ya I wish I at least lived closer to the part of the continent that you live, one of the only good parts of living in my province is that the weather here is much more mild than the rest of the country. But ya otherwise it's a bit of a disaster and seems in a lot of ways that the other provinces are better and a lot more affordable to live in. There is too much greed in my province I think. I guess it is just tough times though and there aren't really any "easy answers" in terms of getting things to be a bit more fair/balanced. Hopefully one day it will improve and that there will be no more homeless people though at least. There is no reason that should be a situation for ANYONE living in a first world country imo. Anyway yup you're right that you can choose your family and that sometimes they treat you better than those you are related to.
