Logan's Run had so much potential, but ultimately falls kind of flat for me, even with such stellar actors as Michael York and Peter Ustinov. George Lucas' THX1128, which incredibly started as a student film, is a far superior entry in the "future dystopian Earth" category.
I know I read that making the movie like the book would have been difficult because of the ages of stages of life in the book, you died at 21, no carousel you just went like the old man in Soylent Green to be put to sleep so all of the actors would have to be young, very young in some cases.
I decided to continue Victoria (watched season 1 two years ago, brings back bad memories, eh), mostly because I'm in love with the opening theme of the series, it's my favourite moment. Cute series though.
