Just finished reading “The Cruise” by Catherine Cooper, it was quite good imo.

Have now started a book called “The Sequel” by Jean Hanff Korelitz. I’m not very far into it yet but so far I think it seems pretty good. Curious to see where it goes.

Francisco de Assis - O maníaco do parque Ullisses Campbell

Elize Matsunaga - Ulisses Campbell

These are sort of "true crime" brazilian books if someone is into that.

I've read/listened through the entire JD kirk series again as a necessary escape. I can work on paintings while listening to these and they make me laugh, so they're doubly enjoyable. Still reading about trauma and shame in the Gabor Mate book. I haven't started it yet; bought the book History of New Zealand by Michael King.

The Golden Legend: Readings on the Saints - Jacobus de Voragine.

It is a book of hagiographies (lives of the saints) but with a lot of medieval theological explanations of main catholic beliefs and a lot of what I think it is catholic folklore too.

The Shortest History of China - Linda Jaivin.

A 300-pages book about the history of China. Most other books about the history of China are like 2 volumes, 700-pages, so it is a great book for a overview.
