I figured it out.
Sure, live your life depressed, needy, and unproductive....but the question remains - WHO'S PAYING FOR THAT? Do you hunt? Do you farm? Where do you put the waste products of your charming private life?
The answer is REAL - if you suck at life, then EVERYONE is paying the price of your existence, and it's a greater price than just the cost of a meal and a bed. The price paid by everyone else is the cost of your ineffectual efforts that more often create additional stresses and damage than if you had simply vanished from existence from the beginning.
In other words - I am the Wrong that must be corrected, by force, if necessary. I am the UNWANTED PROBLEM that suffocates Competent people. Society should destroy that kind of parasitic infection with all the force it can muster.
