I did get all the house hold chores done then fired up the PC with the old dinosaur Linux distro Slackware to reacquaint with it for a bit. The system that is still mostly primitive and manual in just about everything you do with set up and configuration that it is considered one of the more advanced and complicated systems. Perfect for an old fart like me. LOL :)

1 hr 40 minutes of housework, well above my normal limit. Did the normal cleaning of counter tops, taking out trash and recycling, hoovering, but today added mopping hard surface floor bits, cleaning up a bunch of doors and skirting boards, and also did a laundry while this was all going on then put the laundry out to dry. All this was completed in a fasting state since last night so hopefully it burned a few calories of belly fat, which is getting a bit too much for my liking! The housework is not over but have at least made a start on some long overdue tasks. But it's over for this week lol!

I (also) washed sheets and blankets and re-made my bed, did the planks and other core work, finished two work thingies, took out the green recycling and washed the container, & watered my plants. Watched and listened to the ravens shooing off a large hawk who tried to sit at the top of the raven's favourite tree.

I survived the heatwave, making it to office and back. Out of the usual, I managed to call doctors and get a copy of the microbiology report from the initial infection. I asked the practitioner twice what the report said at appointments and she said something very basic that wasn't helpful, but turns out there was quite some detail in the report and now I have full details of the antimicrobial profile the infection showed as susceptible to. I quite like having this data, might come in useful.

I hope @Angie got printer sorted!

Today I have done 1.5 hours of housework. Normal stuff like clearing trash, tidying and cleaning countertops and sink/bathroom. Cleaned kitchen windowsill, living room windowsill, did another door and some other bits that had been covered in the "pile of things to clear later" lol. Did the stairs down and hoovered the landing areas and some of the bedroom. Plus put on a laundry at the start of all this and finished up by getting it all out to dry and managing the leaky connection by turning the water back off. Plus my stretches. I've had a bit of a workout today!

@AvidFan Hey I think it's a kind of meditative task, ironing; though maybe I'm a bit weird lol. 'Satisfying to create a little pile of fresh and orderly gaarments.

I used my new face wash and lotion this morning, keeping a good self-care habit. I put my laundry in to wash before I got out for my walk/run, had a good meal and cleaned up some messes from last week's work.
