What pets don't I want would be the easier question... I'd like to own an animal shelter at some point in my life except all the animals in it would have a home because they'd be mine lol. But here goes for the ones I'd settle having for now: Husky, beta, and one crazy one... a talking wolf (kidding)..hm.. scooby doo.
A longhaired cream-colored dachshund and a pug. A cat or two, perhaps orange tabby. A hedgehog and some rats (at least one Burmese Rex rat.) Miniature donkeys and pygmy goats (although these are unlikely if I plan on living in cities my whole life like I currently want to.) Maybe a ferret or two. I would name these animals whatever random thing pops into my head when I get them, but at least some would be named after hockey players.
I have always wanted a hummingbird. But it's impossible to have it as pet. Not to mention it would be a shame to keep them captive. They are just so colorful! Is the smallest bird there is. They weigh ~ 0.060 ounces, yet their heart beats at ~ 1.260/minute. And they extremely fast, as they flutter their wings about 80 times per second! So da** adorable...

I have three wonderful dogs and 3 very sneaky cats. I would love more dogs. I can't go to the shelter anymore. I went four times in 2015 and got the 3 dogs and 1 cat...I guess I'd need an endless flow of money to have my army of cats and dogs!!!

That's great Francis, I adopted Bella as her family had to move to another state and couldn't keep her. My dream if I had the money would be to get an old farm and turn it into a shelter for animals
You're a good and caring person adopting from the shelter, bless you
Brian

Great minds think alike...I too want an old farm and turn it into a shelter! Problem is, I'd never want to give any of them up!!! How nice, Bella. And thank you, congrats to you too for adopting a pet in need, we are so much better off with them!

I'm just watching a film on Gaia Tv about a lady who takes in race horse after they're cast aside, they in turn work with troubled children. There are so many ways animals help everyone, another reason I love them
