I recently watched the movie :
[ L'Homme qui voulait vivre sa vie ] (the man who wanted to live his life)
It's a french movie with Romain Duris but it's from an american or english book I think.
It was really a very good movie and it really made me think about what it is to lose everything, to have to let everything go and start from nothing away from everything.
I recommend it.

The Counselor. I like Ridley Scott. But there's just something about this picture that was missing for me. I don't know if it was the lack of unpredictability or there not being enough of an element of danger? It's like it was too neat... I can't quite figure it out (why I didn't like it more), it had professional actors doing their professional acting. I guess I just wasn't pleasantly surprised, that's all. But I'm a tough audience to please with movies.
