I had the entire set from like 1990, I believe. And it was never opened. My uncle was a huge collector out in LA for years. Something of an expert... but not a lot of other nice things, could be said about him. I remember Ken Griffey Jr. saying once, how much he loved Kirby Puckett.

Bought a game, some affirmation cards and a long sweater cardigan thing from amazon the other day though, looking forward to supposedly having some of them delivered by 10pm tonight (according to amazon anyway) :p

You’re welcome, and thank you too I will try to think of some better, simple and fun ones to post, just hoping it will be fun enough that it won’t kinda flop like my party game did, lol :p Thanks, ya I got the affirmation cards and game yesterday, I didn’t realize with the cards that they are double sided, and also actually called “Mindfulness Self-Care Cards” but ya, one side has a mindfulness related quote, the other side has an “action” kind of thing, they’re cool though, I like them and am glad I bought them, I think they’ll help me a lot
I’m looking forward to getting the long sweater cardigan too, it won’t be here til next month sometime though. Aw thanks for saying no pressure, I never feel like you’re pressuring me about anything though (for the record, lol) I’m glad you like what I come up with though, I’ll try to think of what might be a new, fun game that might actually have a chance of being popular lol :p Simple definitely is best as far as I can tell, which definitely makes sense cos when I am wanting to play games then that’s often what I’m looking for, something that takes me FAR away from “complexity” like most of life kinda feels like it is for me lol :p
Aw, well if I could then I’d definitely get you some of those mindfulness… cards and a cardigan (there were some diff colors, not a “lot” of options, but anyway the color I picked was described as “pink” but it looks like it is a mix between pink and purple which is perfect since they’re my 2 fave colors anyway lol. Also it’s not made with rayon, wool or acrylic so I’m really glad about that cos I find those fabrics very itchy and uncomfortable.
Last thing I bought was still those things on amazon, might go out to get some groceries today so then the last things I’ll have bought will be:
- hot dog buns
- coffee filters (for my mom of course, I never drink coffee, lol)
- corn flakes
- marshmallows (hoping they have them)
- Honey Nut Chex (again, if they finally have them there again)
- some kind of chips (probably cheese nachos)
- I think there’s something else too lol.

Ya, that’s true, just don’t want to seem like I’m “desperate” for people to reply in it or anything like that lol (I’m not) but ya I shouldn’t worry about that and will just put ideas for parties I have (yup, you’re right about Vday, St.Pats and made up ones too, the party theme possibilities are kinda endless, lol).
I’ll try to take pics of both sides of all those cards I got sometime soon, pretty tired right now so just kinda relaxing, but will try to do that in the next few days and post them either in your funtime thread or my diary. I understand about the actions thing, same here for sure. Ya I don’t have many cardgians either, have at least 5 or more hoodies though, I like that this will be a “longer” cardigan too cos don’t have any of them.

They are thank you gifts for the generous Xmas gift he gave me (complete box set of all 10 seasons of “Friends” on DVD, never thought I’d own that!) so ya, looking forward to giving those to him and I know he’s gonna be quite surprised about it lol :p
