Went to my favorite restaurant (Korean) and had a crispy tofu plate with plum sauce, rice, salad, and spicy pickled daikon. And a bubble tea because one of the owners gave it to me for free.

this evening i will be making sushi (maki)... I will be using brown rice which is challenging since it does not stick together as well as the white. further the avocados are borderline ripe. they are in a brown bag and hopefully ripening right now. Sushi - even the to-go type i’ve spoken of is a coping mechanism for me. i suspect for my family as well. it is important to have good coping mechanisms and hopefully i will get the brown rice to work, the avocados to ripen and it will be a successful meal leaving me feeling good about myself.
I have a coupon for a free burrito from a local(ish) chain so I’m getting a steak burrito with fajita veggies and a side of blue cornbread. Hope the steak won’t be too hard on my sore teeth.
I had a McDonalds double cheeseburger meal. Not so healthy but its the first McD's I have had in months, it tasted good especially the BBQ sauce with the fries

I'm cooking a roast chicken tonight with roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings and veggies as Izzy is home and complaining she never has a roast dinner anymore since she works every weekend.

Sounds interesting. Something else I hadn't heard of. I know I like Indian food in general. And chai is nice. I currently have some Bengal Spice tea bags which is apparently like chai except for it's herbal and not black tea. I tend to make it without any milk or sugar, even though I know that's not as traditional.
