That’s a rather specific population, but one that needs the help. It cheers my heart to hear that something like this exists! What strikes me is the ripple effects that are created when children (both the parents and their babies) who would probably be traumatized by being unable to get their needs met, instead being helped, and having a reason to believe in their own worth. Anything that breaks generational cycles of trauma is like a wedge that can improve the entire society.

Thank you LJ for all you said. I so strongly believe in generational cycle interruption. How it changes the person experiencing it and the future generations. I was so excited to hear that this person in this church group (they don't mind me not being a church going member) described how much networking is in place just for this group being assisted. Even with pyschological connection and support available. I'm so glad that it exists as well as so many thousands fall through the cracks, It doesn't take much love and nonjudgement to change a person's life and direction.
