What's the one thing that made you smile today ?

Most mornings I drive to work, sitting on a street light is a nice hawk. He changes to different street lights every day, it must like these perches.

The cat standoff. 2 cats were having a chat across the street, one of them is my adopted favourite cat, he came running across to see me and his friend followed but kept its distance. Meanwhile another cat approached and sat in the middle of the road. After a lot of fussing and nuzzling, my cat sat down to stare out the road cat. Not sure if they are enemies or dating. Eventually I left them to their nocturnal games, as a car came and they all scarpered into gardens.

I watched a nasty video about politics in the morning that ruined my mood for the day. Later, I read this quote :

When the world is too scary, too loud, too much : stop consuming, start creating.

It read my mind, and I started painting and smiling again.

Counted 7 deer in my small back garden this afternoon, they are eating the holly tree I cut down.

Finishing a 3 mile run without dying and running the last mile the fastest....

I went to a sort of seminar about neurodiversity this afternoon. I was smiling because it was a lot of moments where someone was talking about their experiences and how they found out they were wired differently. I kept thinking, “oh you do that, too huh? I thought I was just about the only one!”

That is some fine work. I love that it is different from what most think of when hearing shelf. Guaranteed to get some admiring looks, nicely done and the simplicity of the design has fun quality.

I have seasonal allergies from hell. I was out getting a breakfast burrito, and I’m pulling out of the parking spot when I have to sneeze so hard that I stick my head out the window. Luckily it was already down. Out comes a sneeze that would register at about 140 decibels (loud as a live rock concert) at least!

A guy in car driving by leans out and says gesundheit. It’s nice that people can be that considerate. Made my day because I was so surprised, lol.

Dogs are always good for some smile. Those are great pictures, fun and cute.

Smiled, and laughed a lot too, because I met my friend at McDonald's and we did the same paper and pencil game that we've been playing for over 10 years. Primitive pencil game but it never gets old.
