Saw Dexter the cat, and gave him a treat. He trotted along following me purring like a little motor every time I fussed him 😻

That sounds so special. I didn't know there were places in the world where random "stopping by" is still a thing. Also, you must've been a memorable friend (unsurprising).

As usual my little cat friends. I saw Smudge in his garden and pssst pssst at him. Carried on walking then looked behind me. Sure enough he was toddling along behind me. Got down to fuss him when I heard a miaow from behind and these sleek black cat had appeared, rubbed himself against me and accepted a fuss, then the two cats touched noses. Smudge decided he was having none of it and turned and went into a garden and the black cat followed him. I wish there were more little moments like this.

My daughter got into the University of Scrantons five year program to get her masters in physical therapy. Im excited for her but I know I'll miss her terribly

A wonderful career choice. There is such a huge need for people in this field. Especially to help us old people who are having physical challenges. I used to joke, that if I could start my life over again, this would be my career choice. You get to hurt people, a wee bit, while making them better. The making them better being the important part. Best of luck to your daughter.

My friend gave me a cat necklace that he found at the farmers market. He also helps me with much around my house. Everything he does is a labor of love and i hope he knows how much I care for him.
