Which fictional character feels like they understand you without ever meeting you?

Could be from an anime, movie, series, game, book…
that one character you look at and think:
“this person clearly broke into my mind somehow...”

I’ll start: maybe Motoko Kusanagi.
She gives off the feeling of someone who’s constantly questioning who they really are, trying to find meaning in connections and in that emptiness sometimes. There’s a distant kind of calm to her, like she’s carrying way too many thoughts but keeps almost all of them silent.

When I saw your post I immediately liked it. You read my mind. I've been making a list of characters that I relate to since last year. It mostly covers different aspects of them that I see in myself. I would say Ella of Frell from the book/movie Ella Enchanted, as she tries to gain control of her life and break the curse of obedience. I always felt something would take over me and I couldn't stop it, similar to the Sim game and her character when someone gives her a command and she automatically does it. I am breaking that habit, which is caused by my childhood abuse.

The other one would be Raven from Teen Titans; her complex personality and being emotionally guarded is very close to me. I think she really shows how people are not one-dimensional and can have several different sides to them that they show to people they feel safe around. Also, the way your upbringing and family and experiences can influence how you are. The last one would be Shrek. He would relate to me because he knows how it is to be judged for your appearance and outcast by society.
