Wow, this is so interesting to read. "Hanging by a Thread" is much more interesting to me now as a name.
My name is either the noun or the verb, or both if you want. It's encouragement for myself, I guess.

Its kinda sad but one of the meanings of the word "twilight" is "a period of decline." Most of the time, it seems things can only get worse, never better. And I think it is a pretty-sounding word  Also, I like the nighttime better than the daytime.

This thread is so interesting to read.

I was Me33 till about 10 minutes ago when admin changed it for me. I chose Me33 because I'm me and I'm 33. Lol...stupid I know and certainly not creative.

Anywaaaay...New username: StarFish. The fish part is because I love the beach, sea, water, fish, dolphins etc. The Star part is because I want my life to shine like a star:smile:

Mine is not particularly creative; it is the initials to my name.

Rick
 might not be too creative Rick, but together with the avatar you choose makes a great screenname:smile:

love the word twilight too:smile:

A flatline is the line that indicates that all electrical activity in your heart has stopped. In other words, it's that moment between life and ultimate death. There's a three minute window where it's possible to be brought back or so it says in the film. Like you're suspended in time and nothingness before going either way. In that time you don't have any control and the decision as to whether you die or have a possibility of life is made by others.

I feel like that.

it's been pretty cool to read these. i chose rhino because first off it is my favorite animal. secondly they are symbolic to life to me. when rhinos charge after something and something else gets in their way they pick it up move it out of their way and keep charging. kind of like what we should do in life. i even have a detailed one tatooted on my forearm simply as a reminder although throughout the years it has become easier for me to overlook it.

rhinos are also loners. which is me to the tee. they are also plant eaters. which symbolizes to me non-violence which is also me to the tee. last but not least they are very very powerful. it has actually been documented that one derailed a locomotive. i'm not trying to tute my own horn but it's taken alot to survive as much as i have and for this many years. anyways, i guess that about sums this up. take care

Sometimes I feel like I'm drowning in a lake, and no one is there to help guide me out. The more I shout, try to speak out... the less anyone hears me. So all I can do is sink further as I cry silently to myself... because the people in my life hear me, but they don't HEAR me... make any sense?

So, that's how SilentCry came about...

I chose my name because I found myself in this situation when it certainly wasnt wanted/expected and because I came across SF by chance ...

I'm new to the group, and this is the first time I've ever posted in any chatroom, so explaining my name seems a good place to start.

I chose "undecided" because I live in the juncture of indecision about suicide. Although it has scary implications, it is also empowering because it affirms that I have a choice to live, too.
