Video game reference.
A couple years ago a Japanese developer made a horror game set in small town pacific northwest USA, called Deadly Premonition. It's an open world concept game that appeared to be inspired by the tv show Twin Peaks, as interpreted by a Japanese person. The result was a very strange game with a lot of unintentionally funny design choices and dialogue. Mr. Stewart is a character in the game. He is confined to a wheel chair, wears a gas mask for some reason that is never fully explained, and speaks only through his assistant, and only in rhyming phrases, and always ended with the phrase "So says, Mr. Stewart".
I have never played this game. A video game website put up video of their editorial staff playing through the entire thing with commentary, I watched that.
