Yum. That’s so funny that you put carrots, cos they were part of my dinner lol. Had the smallest dinner I’ve had in quite a long time, think this heat must be getting to me a bit. Basically just had a few cut up carrots and potatoes and a couple egg rolls. Not feeling hungry at all, my whole body seems to only care about staying as cool as I possibly can at this point. Least the next 2 days will be slightly less hot. Still gonna be over 30 degrees though, oh well lol :p

That’s cool, and thanks, me too. Ya it got really hot here for a couple days in 2021, it was beyond hell for sure. Every summer since then I’ve been afraid it’ll get like that again, so glad it hasn’t happened since but I still worry about it.

Yup, for sure. It’s really not a good thing for a place like here to get that hot, we just aren’t set up for such heat like in the more southern parts of the world. If everywhere had central AC it wouldn’t be so bad, but it doesn’t.

Pretty sure that level of heat resulted in some deaths if I remember right. It definitely needs to never happen again. I hope it never happens there either, would not wish that on anyone, not even my stepwitch lol :p

I think that global warming could get worse, but hopefully people will be able to find ways to keep it from becoming that way.

Definitely hoping that won’t be the case with global warming making it get worse. I’m glad there are lots of efforts being made by people to keep the environment protected (recycling, reusable bags vs. plastic, etc) but ya we definitely have to continue to do all we can to protect our precious planet. I never had that pie before either lol, hopefully we can both try it someday.

Never tried it. I tend to like jam more than marmalade, but I’ll say yum anyway.
