I've been busy with work lately, which is crucial for my mental health. My cat has been extra nice (for him). Also, I had a good talk with someone, and it helped too.

January:
I'm fighting you all the way to April.

Tomorrow is the last day of January. I am now in agreement with myself that I don't belong in this place, even though I own it and it was pretty great while we all were here.

I grew up by the ocean somewhere very much like nsw, so being back there would feel so much better.

Can I find the courage is the million dollar question.

You can and do have the courage seabird do what's in your heart; everything will work out in the end. *hug

It sounds like you have a real yearning to follow your heart. I hope whatever you decide, it all works out well for you 💕💕💕
Thanks AvidFan. 🧡 Yearning is a good word for it, I could re-frame most of my life as my reactions to yearning, in various iterations. Maybe that's why painting & designing has always been my work. I can't keep holding on here any longer.

Anyone else ever have a door open up in your mind, revealing an answer to a huge old, "why?"
It happened for me early this morning. Now I know the cause, the seed-form for certain painful, troublesome beliefs and behaviour.

I’ve lived within walking distance of the ocean for my entire life. One of my earliest memories is of my mother teaching me to swim in it. The home I shared with my wife was so close that we could smell the salt and hear the sea lions through our window at night. It’s why I like your name and avatar.

I also know what it‘s like to lose the feeling of being “home,” though I’m sure the circumstances are different. I hope you find it again.
