I found my kindle reader just now! I had been looking all over for it since last night and I just noticed a corner jutting out from under a notepad - tablet that I use to jot things down when I know I will forget if I wait for the laptop to boot up. Going to do some reading either tonight or in the morning.

In the midst of a whirlwind of doctor appointments, I did two loads of wash, cleaned out the fridge and put in a grocery order.

I successfully got the cardiac clearance for my surgery. One down, one to go.

This involved 3 days spent at the cardio's office, two trips I had to get a ride, as the first trip I scared myself silly driving on the interstate.

I finally did my laundry today.

Probably a weird thing to celebrate, but I managed to laugh a lot today. I haven't done that since forever.

Today I went out and felt pretty. I also ate a lot of good food today. The mall that I went to was pretty nice. I think mentally I'm getting a little bit better.

I asked for something for myself, and it went well. I was getting pizza and it seemed a bit dry. I was thinking about getting an extra side of sauce, but then I thought twice because I was asking myself if I was worthy of the guy’s time who is working there. But I have to reclaim the confidence I had before I let some bad people destroy it. I won’t feel better until I start acting “as if,” as in outside of my comfort zone. BTW the guy behind the counter was only too happy to accommodate me, so that’s a victory.
