35-minute walk this evening. Trying to get back to daily walks after months of laziness. About 50% success on walking on any given day since I "restarted" 10 days ago.
Walked up and down the stairs without knee collapsing painfully. I'll take that as win. Shortly I need to walk to the shops, the knee is fine as long as I walk fairly steadily (but complains a bit if I do my usual speed walk pace). Am hoping it can't be too bad as there's no inflammation or pain otherwise, just these weird moments of shooting pain that go as soon as they've come. My bad knee (pretty severe injury in 20s) is fine - maybe I should have injured the other knee when I was younger as well 🤦♀️
Did my shopping in the rain, carried heavy bags home, did my minimum steps for the day and knee was completely fine, will rest it up for a good week though before attempting anything more strenuous!
Little walk of 1.7 miles or so, couldn't get heart rate up much at all but it was better than nothing. No knee pain, not even a twinge - so far so good!!
