My body is disgusting. I really need to lose weight. It's horrible. I am going to double down on the diet and exercise. I can't stand looking like this anymore.
Hi @Pebble mouse, it broke my heart to read this. I am so sorry you feel this way, and I'm positive you are not disgusting. What I'll say about exercise and diet is that if you force it, it won't take. Long term weight loss is a rough road, but way more satisfying and easier to maintain. Don't push yourself to do things if you don't enjoy them because it won't stick. If you enjoy swimming, then yeah, do it, but if you hate it, don't make yourself do it because you think you have to. You make a lot of accomplishments just with walking and cutting down on sugar, etc. You don't have to deny yourself, or destroy your body or anything.

Whatever you choose to do for diet and exercise, I'd love to hear about it, and peace be with you. Sending love.

I just got back from the doctors office. I hurt my back somehow, in this weird way. I have a sort of "scapular winging" (although I actually don't have Scapular Winging) and now one of my shoulder blades is protruding slightly. There's very little pain, it's just mostly discomfort, and my right side is noticeably weaker.

My doctor was flummoxed, and gave me a physical therapist referral.

For the last few weeks, I've been mostly doing cardio, with a little weight training, but mostly stretching so I can get this right side of my body back in line with everything else. It's so odd, and I'm so mad I can't lift weights. Hopefully a little physical therapy will help. My doctor thinks in a couple of more weeks I should be fine. She can't find any damage, so that's good.

Ate less healthy. It sounds a bit counterproductive but indulging yourself at times is good so you don't get bored with living healthy. :)
Agreed! If you deny yourself everything all the time, you just end up binging and never sticking to a healthier plan. This weekend I had a giant pretzel and a couple of mozzarella sticks. Was very good. :)

I have been wanting to learn tai chi forever. I keep forgetting to look it up on YouTube and join in a beginner's class. I hardly eat any food, just enough so my stomach doesn't hurt. I've been unmotivated to make anything healthy, such as salads and veg. I know healthy fat is the most important thing to keep a person alive and satiated. So, I just make myself a cup of home made bulletproof coffee when I get up and keto fat desserts with cream cheese and grass fed Kerry butter (my two favorite foods/fats) and switch up the recipe. It doesn't take long to make and they last me for a day or two. I've also been forcing myself to cut up celery and eat it to get some fiber and nutrients in.

Oops I missed February. I was in a car accident mid February so I have taken the time off from the gym and plan on returning in another week. I started my yoga practice again last week. I've cut back on walking on cold days this month, just can't stay out in it for long. I'm still trying to eat more calories, especially those calcium dense. I have increased my efforts with doubling my daily water intake on top of my other fluids during the day.
