So I think I need to train my brain to do this more often. A lot more often. So I came up with an exercise for myself to find the middle ground between pairs of opposites. I thought some other people might enjoy doing this too, though, so I won't put up my answers yet.
What would middle ground look like in these situations? You can use as many words as you need to properly explain your answers. There are no right and wrong answers really. People will probably have different answers for some.
1. Liked; disliked
2. Ignored; the center of attention.
3. deathly ill; perfectly healthy.
4. A failure at life; a total success at life.
5. Not good enough; perfect
6. Emotionless; too emotional
7. Ignorant; intelligent
8. Aggressive; passive
9. Important; unimportant
10. Disappointed; pleasantly surprised.
