How Are You Feeling Right Now?

I feel like I’m on some kind of sedative. I just want to sleep. I stayed in bed so long that I became restless. Now I’m going to the gym to burn off some of the energy. I still feel sleepy, though. It’s like I am restless and tired at the same time.
Im in the gym now after crown work at the dentist for 3 hours trying to distract myself and keep from going to bed or just sitting at home while the pain recedes. Im trying to keep my momentum and not miss days at gym working out. Today is low body and really stretching out my IT band on left side as well
Have a great workout!

Now that you mention your dental ordeal, I had the thought that maybe my body is sort of recuperating. I would not think that a couple crowns would take that much out of me. I might be wrong.

*faints
Sitting in a chair for 3 hours with mouth wide open like I was today and noisy work being done. Body is reacting to this even if it’s not “invasive” so to speak, but it’s still being bruised, inflammation being created so immune system can be put on alert and activated even if mildly. Mentally and physically wiped me out today. And yes, I believe from my nursing know how that it can wipe you out- how’s that for professional Input?😉. It depends on the condition you are in to begin with and anything else going on as well, chronic or acute. Also the heat if you are in that kind of weather. Let’s see…dehydration possibility ….Nutrition/protein is great for healing and recovery too.
It will just take a few days..be easy with your energy usage…..

Kind of mixed. I am thinking about too many things at once. I wish I could consider suicide as a viable option, but I am convinced it is both immoral and not the answer to dealing with my pain and anxiety. I am a little jealous of some posters here who write as if it was a viable option.

On the positive side though I have volunteered at the equine therapy place and I am noticing that people are treating me very well. So I am happy to be doing something productive, and also to be treated as a human being. Unfortunately this also brings up trauma from being inpatient and treated like an inconvenience for daring to make my needs known.

So it’s like a really good day, but I keep remembering that I still haven’t processed the trauma of being punished into learned helplessness by the people I was literally paying to help me.

Feeling somewhat anxious and weak about almost everything, though I know the thoughts will move on I'm so tired of them. Laziness and fatigue are one and the same thing for me and they don't help with the need to focus and work harder. It's pretty much the classic procrastination loop. Processing emotion over and over again even though a lot of time has gone by. I woke up at some ridiculous hour after having dreamt of my ex burying me alive in a dirt pit.

I've got a feeling of "here we go again." So I had my last antibiotic on Tuesday morning. Symptoms and tests were clear. I had my review with Advanced Clinical Practitioner on Wednesday. Again, same. So she said I can't have any standby antibiotics we have to watch and wait. Thursday, clear. Friday, clear. My rational mind said OK, maybe this time I've beaten this thing first time and am not going to go through what I went through in 2019 - a chronically recurring UTI and 10 different antibiotics none of which finish it off until I take matters into my own hands and overdose myself on co amoxiclav.... My anxiety said you watch, your worst fear is it coming back on the weekend. So you have to spend your weekend in doctors or hospitals.

Guess what... I know my own body and today my pee felt different again - bit of burning and stinging. I thought maybe it's my pudendal neuralgia after the exercise the last few days. So I did a urinalysis strip. Faint leukocytes. Did one half an hour later - stronger result and urinary urgency developing. Another half hour and the test is thick with leukocytes as my body is clearly mounting an inflammatory response to an infection that's bouncing back. It stands to reason - they put me on nitrofurnatoin. It's great for simple things like E coli - but I don't have ecoli I have klebsiella - which is known to be resistant to nitrofurnatoin....

What clearly has happened is that high concentrations of an antibiotic altered the behaviour of the microbe enough to make it look like it was eradicated - but it's formed a reservoir or biofilm, hidden away, and as soon as the antibiotic is gone, it's come out of hiding.

So I filled in an online NHS 111 thing, it suggested GP out of hours callback - I got a callback within 10 minutes and no questions asked, they want me to go in for an appointment later today.

So much for relaxing this weekend.
