How Are You Feeling Right Now?

I'm doing what I can to self-regulate. It's ridiculous because there's nothing threatening me but my anxiety has ramped up considerably. My work usually is my go-to in order to calm down but every brush and paint palette is packed. I managed to work out an adjustment in plans which seemed to be like spinning plates in the air, but so far so good.

I feel really scared because im all alone. I am sorry I know I am not supposed to worry about the future but I am so scared of being alone in the future that being alone in the afterdeath is why I am to scared to die and being alone is why I want to die. What am I supposed to do??
you have many more years to find a partner to share your journey. it;s better to wait until you;re sure before commiting but until then explore and have fun. as far as afterlife if you believe in god i wouldnt worry about being alone. if you go to heaven there will be billlioins of people there including old relatuves. and if you go to hell then you won't be looking for friends while the flames flick your ass lol.

i found my wife at 21yo. i could have had 8s and 9s, and i did until i met my wife. i never regretted my pick and the last time we renewed our vows we said until death do us part and for eternity. try to be patient and look at the whole person. you are a good person

@FlamingoWrangler It seems yesterday I put a like on your post and then undid it, thinking I hadn't. lol I have an excuse of my brain being worse than usual due to packing and organizing my move. I don't know why but doesn't really matter; the monster Sully seems like an appropriate protecter right now. I've imagined him standing 7 feet tall with arms crossed and growling a warning at thoughts which usually induce the beginning of elevated heart rate, shallow breathing, fearful loops of other thoughts and the slide toward panic.
I am pleased to hear Sully is by your side keeping the negative feedback loop from starting and side eyeing the trolls. He’s got your back.
That’s a great visual -you with Sully - big, blue & growling.
It gives me a peaceful smile.
Like Mike Wasowski said, “I wasn’t scared, I have allergies.”

you’ve got this!

I am so scared of being alone in the future that being alone in the afterdeath is why I am to scared to die and being alone is why I want to die.
Sending hugs if you would like hugs
What am I supposed to do??
I don't know much about DPD, but if you're pretty sure DPD is what you've got, then there's got to be some formal guidance about what people with DPD should do. Are there any self-treatment books about DPD out there?

I know the loa is a disappointment, but it will be ok. How are you feeling with the new med changes?
I feel like my head is full of quicksand.

Pdoc reduced the latuda, prescribed an antidepressant I've not heard of, and buspar for anxiety.

I haven't gotten the antidepressant from the pharmacy yet.

Pdoc said it will take 2 to 3 weeks to level out.

Still down. Nothing is lifting me. I had upped my amitriptyiline to 20mg. It's not a huge dose - am supposed to be on up to 50mg for the nerve pain, I still had a bit of that, so thought I'd kill 2 birds with one stone and get a little boost from the extra 10mg. Unfortunately it seems to have made my mood stick in a permanent low. I normally feel better after I interact with people in real life, but that's not happening any more. Admittedly, there is a raft of evidence that I am completely doomed financially, which translates to existentially, because once I can't pay the mortgage, and start getting letters about bounced direct debits (not got them yet, but close), I can only really see one solution to it all.

Some meds take sooo long to work. When you’re struggling it seems extra slow. I hope you get better quick!

I am not familiar with Latuda, so looked it up. One write up says to take with food. Then the next sentence says it has to be at least 350 calories of food. Seems oddly specific to me. Anyway, I hope you start feeling clear and healthy. Update when you feel up to it. 🦩🦩

So sorry you are going through this. I can empathise with the medication changes to some degree. I hope things level out sooner. Also sorry to hear about the pause in your studies. Wishing you the very best. ❤️

I think I had a meltdown or something similar, like a burnout or something, yesterday at the university. (I'm autistic level 1)
It happens often to me; I just feel terribly bad out of the blue and start crying; my heartbeat gets faster and faster; I hyperventilate; I dissociate; I can't and don't want to talk; and... just stop working. Can't focus on anything, but at the same time I'm paying attention to everything. It's weird.
I wanted to talk about it yesterday but just couldn't.
Today I'm experiencing the sequels of yesterday. I feel apathetic to the world. I don't want to talk at all. I feel tired, mentally tired. I don't want to do anything at all, but somehow I have managed to get through the day.
I wish I could just get a sincere hug. Cry on somebody's shoulder.
I wish I could just talk about these things to someone, to my mom, without her looking at me like a weirdo or telling me I'm exaggerating or whatever.
I know she means no harm; she says it to make me feel like I can get through it, but it just makes me feel stupid for even having feelings.
It's like everyone else just knows HOW TO BE, and I'm the little stupid one who makes a big deal out of anything.
Lately, my mind has just wandered alone; my thoughts spiral, and I don't have control over them. I'm just there, in the middle of it all.
