I was in my 30's. It was a half -hearted attempt. I meant it at my current age of 49. I was <mod edit - method>. I OBSESS about it all day everyday and have to renew my source before doing any it right this time

Yet now, my future is hopeless and there is no light at the end of the tunnel at all. I really feel that I have a very, very short time left in this life )-;

I just feel the same as you do. I don't know for how long will I be able to tolerate the unbearable suffering of my life. It is a matter of when only. I will die by suicide sooner or later.
