Here's a tip:
What do you want in a partner/gf/bf?
All of you people who want to be approched, here's a tip: so do THEY. All those who want someone with a good sense of humor, who want someone who is kind and caring, not afraid to take risks, etc., etc. Other people want that too!!! So be the bigger person and go for it!
Most people HATE dating, HATE striking up a conversation with a stranger, HATE feeling like they are auditioning for a play...but the bottom line is, that's what you need to do! You are NOT a Princess (or Prince) locked up in a tower waiting for that one person to come and save you no matter what! SAVE YOURSELF! Be the kind of person you want in your own life and you WILL attract those types of people! You try to complicate things, but the bottom line is that it is quite simple. Look at yourself from the outside and change the things you can!
When you look at yourself (physically and emotionally) do you:
1.) Like your clothes? (if not, why would someone else like your clothes, and what kind of clothing do you think makes a person look good?)
2.) Like the way you behave in public? (If not, why would someone else like the way you behave, and what kind of behavior do you like in others?)
3.) Like your haircut? (See: above)
4.) Like your hobbies? (See: above)
The bottom line is this: If you hate yourself and everything about you, then why would someone else like those same qualities? And if they did, I can tell you right now, you will LOATHE them for everything they like about you that you yourself cannot accept about your own personality!
Think about the logic here. I may HATE the fact that I am lazy, so what the FUCK gives me the right to expect someone to love me for being lazy? NOTHING.
I'm not talking about things that cannot be changed here (appearance, personality, etc.), but I AM talking about things in your life that you actually have the ability to change.
The question is this: Would you date yourself? Would you fall in love with yourself? Why or why not?
