Ladies and gentlemen, I'm afraid I am not going to be able to put in the normal effort I do for Jim's Cafe, as this is more of a whim thing, I see there is no cafe, and I'm in a WEIRD conflicted mood and on my 2nd bottle... of Gin... so I just figured... CAFE TIME!
Today we celebrate Fun Day, Tell a Lie Day, One Cent Day, Reading is Funny Day, and Sourdough Bread Day, oh, and lets throw in Straw Hat Month and Garden Month.
Fun Facts
1) F. D. Chester Willard has been published multiple times in the field of Physics, co-authoring multiple papers and being credited for contributions to dozens more, even signed copies of his work has been handed out at events. Oh, and small fun fact, Chester, is a cat. His owner accidently used "We" instead of "I" in a paper he was writing and couldn't be bothered to change it so shared credit with his cat under the name "Felix Domesticus Chester Willard. or "F. D. C. Willard" to make "we" appropriate. This was so amusing to others in his field that copies of his paper bearing his cat's paw print were sold, and many physicists also credited his cat for contributions to their work.
2) A standard Chef's hat has PRECICELY 100 pleats.. for some reason.
3) Queen Elizabeth II, the longest standing monarch in UK history, is also a trained mechanic.
4) Both high heels, and the colour pink were originally worn by men and thought to be manly before women took them as their own.
5) Black Sapote is a fruit which, under the skin, has the taste, colour and consistency of chocolate pudding when ripe.
