Tysm for opening the cafe
@Dante and for tagging me here too!

Ty
@Kiwi2016 for tagging me too
Fun q's, just the distraction I need right now with my mind being too over worried about various things I ultimately have no control over (a pointless thing to do, I know) here's my answers then and hope everyone has a nice day

Travel Table
With (some) of the world unlocking, people are increasingly free to travel, so here is a table to talk about it:
1) Where have you been to recently?
Nowhere out of country or anything exciting like that. Down the street. Got some groceries the other day. Unfortunately probably have to do that again today. Let's see, where else? Library. My sis's who lives about an hour away from here, but that was in September. Ya. That's kinda it.
2) Where would you like to go next?
California, esp. to LA next May cos there's gonna be a Dragcon that I'd love to go to since Trinity will be there. Probably will not be able to go though and also tickets for it are most likely sold out now anyway.
3) Tell us about your last holiday somewhere special (Not a "sit-on-arse-and-watch-TV" holiday)
Close to a decade ago, it was mainly special cos the place itself is nice and I hadn't been there in awhile. For me, it has never really been about "where I am" so much as "who I'm with" because who you are with can either make a heaven out of hell or a hell out of heaven, as the expression goes.
4) If you have pictures of anywhere you have been to, or desperately want to go to, feel free to share them but remember, no selfies, (Anonymity remember).
Just a couple pics of where I want to go (Dragcon) this is a pic of one of my fave queens (other one is my avatar pic) at one. Other pic is kinda big so will just post a link to it.

5) What was your favourite trip ever, and what made it so special?
Going to California when I was 15 cos I got to go to Disneyland, Universal Studios and some other places in California that I'd never been before. I got some cool stuff, took pix of things and just felt very special and lucky that I got to go there and to those cool places at least once in my life. All my friends (never had many overall, just collectively "all" those who had ever been my friend at some point lol) had been to Disneyland I was the only one who had never been.
Health & Exercise Table
After 2 years of being stuck at home, what have we been doing to keep our minds and bodies in good condition?
1) Do you get much exercise? and if so, what do you do?
Not as much as I should, but I try to at least do a fair amount of walking. Need to amp it up to jogging though for sure.
2) What do you do to keep your mind active?
Lots of things, play Sudoku daily and also a couple word games and a few hidden objects games which are VERY hard for me, definitely not good at the hidden objects games at all lol. It's fun to try them though.
3) What do you do to counter the extra emotional strain from all the crap these past 2 years?
I'm quite limited in what I can truly do to deal with that overall but I do the best I can. For a lot of my life I've kinda lived it "one day at a time" and I've just kinda kept doing that since the big C started.
4) Do you remember to eat healthily? What do you eat most days?
I "remember" as in "know I should" but actually doing it, well I do try to at least eat something that is healthier every day, but I also eat some unhealthy things. Trying very hard to eat a lot less chocolate and more fruits and veggies. Has always been a challenge for me.
5) How has your mental, physical and emotional health changed these past 2 years?
I think it's ultimately improved, again for various reasons. Got some help with it for 6 months (woulda been longer if it could have believe me) which really helped me get much stronger and I've continued with some of the things I learned while there which I think has been a huge help too.
The Secret Passion Table
The table to tell us all about that 1 topic you love but rarely get to talk about.
1) What is that one topic you could talk about for hours but rarely get to?
Life! More specifically, the how's and why's of various parts of it especially to do with why people do what they do, observational kinds of conversations about "what would it be like if such and such a thing happened?", talking about experiences, feelings, ideas and also astrology. I have looked up SO MANY charts on people I've known, family, friends and famous people. I find people and why they do what they do to be truly, endlessly fascinating. Having a synergetic conversation with someone who feels even remotely as passionately about that as I do? Pure heaven. Will definitely never be truly happy if I'm never able to have that again, but believe me I am definitely doing everything I can to be happy despite not having something that would be so life giving to me like that. No point dwelling, no good will come from it. I'm a very lucky person in a lot of ways so I just need to be grateful for that. At least I have a cat that lives with me, a real life friend, my mom and sis. Some people don't even ever get to have such things/beings as those in their lives.
I also enjoy talking about death but not in a morbid way, just in a "if I talk about it with someone then I somehow feel at least a bit less terrified of it" kind of way.
2) What really excites you about it?
The endless mysteriousness of it, that it's a constantly changing and evolving thing.
3) What is your favourite part?
The new ideas and perspectives that can be found depending on how something is approached. The same thing can take on a completely different meaning when new ways of thinking and understanding are introduced. My uncle knew this well and I definitely credit him hugely for helping to inspire such appreciation in me too.
4) Do you think its an acquired taste or something everyone would love if they gave it a chance?
Very hard thing for me to answer. I think everyone has the potential, but you need a good combination of extreme curiosity, open-mindedness, bravery (cos this level of thinking can definitely scare the daylights out of a lot of people), passion and patience. If any of those are weak then it is a lot more challenging to truly sustain such conversation.
5) Make a joke specific to the topic, lets see your maths/art/dentistry/graphic-design/etc jokes.
I got nothing here sorry, this topic is dead serious and extremely important. Not a laughing matter at all. Sorry that's just not my kind of humor, would definitely prefer to make a joke about people doing dumb things or whatever. Here's some memes I think are funny anyway lol :p
