wow! great! envious! (envy... but please keep in mind that the common everyday dictionary these days have the wrong definition) its a positive thing....
Well, don't be envious just yet, lol. I've still got a pretty long road ahead to even get that far. 11 more courses left to finish, finding a job, a CADC license to obtain...and I'm not even planning on stopping there (although, I will likely take a break and treat myself to a vacation in between). But once I do obtain the CADC, I still want to go back for a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, an internship, and an LPC license :) So a long, long path ahead of me still.

Hi @johnDoen Thank you die the tag. It’s nice to be invited.
For me it’s the countryside. I often consider the idea of running away to the countryside, living in the middle of nowhere where I could be alone and hide. If I could find a space where I would never be found ever again and just be, that would be enough for me. Perhaps one day.
Hope everyone is having a calm Sunday. Take care and stay safe. *hug Xx

like i said, the positive envy thoughts! but spiritual me, i see 11 as a lucky number so keep up the positivity Aurelia! i’d do the same (or similar) if i could just get some of this excess age surgically removed - like a life-lift or something. but happy you know you’ve not been around for good reasons!

And @extraterrestrialone considering how much I know that the system has failed you, my other friends on here, and even me for about 10+ years, once I do become a psychotherapist, I promise to all of you and to myself that I'm going to strive to make some sort of difference in the mental health field because all these BS therapists not knowing how to do their jobs is an absolute disgrace.

Age is just a number, dear. You're only as old as you feel. And I don't throw around cliches for no reason; I would hope you know that about me by now. I just really, honestly believe that these ones are true.

So yeah, migraines or something. It's now a part of my life, in additions to the suicidal thoughts. Nobody cares as long as I'm still able to work, right?
Annoyingly true, I lost that illusion of care the first time I was told to come into work with kidney stones. It was a "you're working tonight or your not working again" conversation with no priors to warrant it. Employers rarely care, but friends do.

The Map to the Wonders of the World
You bought a map from a local merchant, and decided to take a time to look at it to see if there is any good place for your next adventure, or a place to finally settle down. Where do you want to go?
  • Tropical beaches: Sunny by day, windy by night. Lots of local seafood.
  • Mountainous forests: Dense woods and challenging terrains. Be careful on every step.
  • Deserts: Sands and dryness. Mighty sun at day and cold breezes at night.
  • Mangroves: Large trees and smaller ones packing up above water. Great fishing locations.
  • Jungle hills: Very dense packs of trees and very challenging terrains, since there are a lot of ups and downs. Also hot and humid.
  • The countryside: Fields and gardens across the horizon, surrounding villages and roads.
  • The city: Skyscrapers and bright lights. Traffics and noises.
Tropical Beaches sound lovely, but I would rather the cool breezes than windy nights when the sun goes down. Warmth and life during the day, cool and peace during the night, but never so hot or cold that it becomes uncomfortable.

And as for the cafe question, definitely this:
  • Mountainous forests: Dense woods and challenging terrains. Be careful on every step.
Planning on graduating with my Bachelor's in about a year, getting a job at a clinic, getting my drug and alcohol certification for counseling, and making a crapton of money to at least take a trip (even though I'd rather just live there permanently if I could) to one of the Scandinavian countries.
*hug*hug*hug Just a message to say I miss you, that you're absolutely wonderful, and that I'm SO happy to read about your plans and motivation. And I'm incredibly proud, as you should be!

thank you for the tag @johnDoen.. It would be the Hawaiian islands to settle in, it was on my mind yesterday...to sell everything I have and go find a one room place to live in.....it has it all---beach and mountains, forests and countryside. The city would be there for the occasional have tos. Favorite animal besides dogs and birds---->turtles:)......hope your headache subsides soon.....

Take me to the countryside! I'll do a fully expressive heart wrenching rendition of Jolene and not be anxious about the public opinion of my beautifully abhorrent singing voice!

Sadly the Premier League has ended today which means I need a new hobby for a couple months. I understand that people like to wake up to the sound of music - in particular birds singing. Isn't it just beautiful? I wonder if this might be a good opportunity to overcome my fear of singing in public. I'm sure if they appreciate unintelligible bird sounds they would develop a liking of music in a language they can understand. I'll order a megaphone and let you know how it goes!

Hope everyone has a splendid day.

Definitely the peace, quiet and tranquility of the woods and wilderness since I already live in the country surrounded by fields and small towns. Plus fishing is a great excuse to be lazy, good off and drink beer while catching supper and it is good that I am comfortable and at home in the wilds. :)

Hey @johnDoen *hug a hug for you. I understand migraines, they are crippling sometimes. I get the cold sweats, and the nausea and dizzyness too.. I feel you. They absolutely suck. Be gentle with yourself and try to nurse your body when it gets that way.

Well, I currently live in a desert.. I do love this desert out by the mountains. But I absolutely love the coast. Preferable not a tropical, or populated, or sunny coast. The Pacific northwest in the US is where I am headed someday. .. Its beautiful. So many natural parks, foliage, flowers, etc.. Unlike the desert.
I guess the grass is literally greener on the other side for me. But the desert us still my home.. 🖤

I hope everyone is having a good weekend.
I'm taking it day by day.. Moving out of my house and cleaning.

Thanks, @johnDoen !

Maybe not quite a desert in my area, but more of a sagebrush steppe. It looks like the desert and people call it the desert, though. But it's teeming with life once you enter, such as rattlesnakes, elk, bighorn sheep, wildflowers (in spring), and sagebrush (goes without saying).
