The Map to the Wonders of the World
You bought a map from a local merchant, and decided to take a time to look at it to see if there is any good place for your next adventure, or a place to finally settle down. Where do you want to go?

Mangroves: Large trees and smaller ones packing up above water. Great fishing locations.

Thank you for opening the cafe @johnDoen and the tag. I have not been around for a while, my Chromebook quit working and I do not do long posts on my phone. I took my Chromebook to the IT guy at work and he explained to me that the battery had become contaminated and shorted out the keyboard. He found the parts at ScreenSurgeons and told me I could order them and gave me a link to a video that showed how to change them. I hate working on electronics but it was a serious ego boost to fix it myself, it felt like a real accomplishment. It is working great now, like brand new, and he said I added 2 years of life to it.

I would live in the forest in a tree house. THe series "Crusoe" is fascinating, I know it is not real life but that is my dream retirement. He builds a series of houses in the trees and lives in them.

And @extraterrestrialone considering how much I know that the system has failed you, my other friends on here, and even me for about 10+ years, once I do become a psychotherapist, I promise to all of you and to myself that I'm going to strive to make some sort of difference in the mental health field because all these BS therapists not knowing how to do their jobs is an absolute disgrace.
Most mental health care workers become jaded by the failures in the system. I hope you don't let that happen to you. It would take a lot of determination and strong character to keep a good outlook in the system and help people in spite of it. I have been lucky here to have good help, I have a very good psychiatrist right now, and it is sad that not everyone can have that.

Good morning @johnDoen. Sorry to hear about your migrains. I hear topiramate is a good medicine for this.

I'd take a trip through the mangroves. I did go in my 20's and love d it, minus the mosquitoes. Who wants to kayak with me? Don't be afraid of the gators! View attachment 45404 View attachment 45405 View attachment 45406 View attachment 45407
I have done a trip on the water through the mangroves in Thailand, it was wonderful. Kayak is ready and waiting, Lol...

Nah, that's not going to happen. I'm extremely passionate about my career choice. I want to understand why people behave the way they do so that when someone who is suffering comes to me and asks me "how do I stop being so unhappy?", I have real, truthful answers for them, not just some vague bullshit answer they've already heard a million times from other therapists.
