1. would you prefer to live for love and be broke or without love and be rich.
Either one, or anything in between... because anything is better than what I have now!

If I were forced to choose, I'd probably go with the latter. While love is an admirable goal, it sure as heck is easier to seek love while rich than to seek riches while in love.

2. why is it that men look older than women.
Biology. Speaking with clinical detachment, women's physical attractiveness is an inherent indicator of their ability to bear children. Men have no such burden, but their physical robustness is in turn an indicator of their ability to provide for the female and offspring.

3. can you forgive yourself if you do something bad.
Easily, since everything is mostly beyond my control.

4. can people really change if they try.
Certainly. Without change there is no hope.

5. if someone betrays you can you ever trust them again.
I may be able to forgive, but trust is a matter of pragmatism rather than idealism. So I doubt it on that front, depending on the nature of the betrayal.

All for love.

2. why is it that men look older than women.

I agree with Mike on this one.

3. can you forgive yourself if you do something bad.

I can forgive myself, I try to live a life I can be proud of. If I wrong someone I don't forgive myself easily.

4. can people really change if they try.

Everyone can change few ever do.

5. if someone betrays you can you ever trust them again.

I give everyone a chance, if you screw me over I'll know it. you will have to earn my trust again,

1. would you prefer to live for love and be broke or without love and be rich.
I’d be rich.

2. why is it that men look older than women.
Cuz women uses lots of collagen supplements Lol, I don’t though.

My skins naturally flawless ;)

3. can you forgive yourself if you do something bad.
Yes can. I’m used to it and I don’t dwell on it cause everyone makes mistakes godssakes. Moving on. ..

4. can people really change if they try.
Yes, you’ll eventually get bored of that particular situation as there’s no such thing as a fixed mindset.

5. if someone betrays you can you ever trust them again.
Nope. I can always read the room first. Usually, I’m the one who’d walk away first, I don’t wait. I would never ever like to wait or waste time on some dickheads. I don’t usually give second chances.

1. would you prefer to live for love and be broke or without love and be rich.
Have not dealt with love very much, but would like too, so I chose love (as long as I am not homeless)

2. why is it that men look older than women.
Not sure I agree on this one. Older men usually look much better then older women.

3. can you forgive yourself if you do something bad.
I wish.

4. can people really change if they try.
In most things, yes.

5. if someone betrays you can you ever trust them again.
Depends on the nature of the betrayal.

Such hard questions.

Good Morning Mike! (@1964dodge ),
thanks for the cafƩ and invite!

i will get right into the Qs because i see some i already want to answer.

1. would you prefer to live for love and be broke or without love and be rich. i have a feeling this might be a trick question so i’ll give a trick answer. i suppose one could say the phrase ā€œto live for loveā€ does not mean you’d actually get the love so i’ll change it to ā€œdefinitely having loveā€. and the answer is yes, absolutely i’d go for the love. true. being poor might work against the love but since this is a choice where the love is a given, i believe it will endure. i for one know how to make limited resources go a long way. in a life full of love i know that a life of being poor would still be a happy life.

2. why is it that men look older than women. hmm, maybe they are? nope. i think it is a sexist thing that we are all somehow tied to through centuries and more of evolving, breeding etc. the man is (has been) considered the one in charge and authority figures are generally looked at as being older. this is my take on it anyway.

3. can you forgive yourself if you do something bad. yes and maybe no.

4. can people really change if they try. absolutely yes! i’ve been changing over the past several months using positive affirmations. they really do work.

5. if someone betrays you can you ever trust them again. i think one has to assume that each person is living for themselves. it is their own body they’re stuck in and finding how to live is their primary function. in varying degrees, people can actually care about others but a time will likely come when they will do something that seems to neglect or tread on another’s space. this will come as betrayal among other things. if you understand that they are just being human and presuming they do have remorse, trusting them again is not what to be thinking about, but just doing your best to make the relationship as is, as good as it can be. it may or may not work out and that is a given with the first violation or subsequent ones.

rich

2. why is it that men look older than women.
I don't think this is a thing. Too many people in the world, too many genes, too many cultures/environmental factors, too many lifestyle factors. Nope.

3. can you forgive yourself if you do something bad.
Yes

4. can people really change if they try.
Yes but very rarely it happens

5. if someone betrays you can you ever trust them again.
No.

]1. would you prefer to live for love and be broke or without love and be rich.
Love, definitely. Although not rich, I'm lucky to be comfortable and not have to worry too much. But living without love is slowly killing me. 'Things' are just hollow, they bring no real comfort or meaning. But love cannot be bought.

2. why is it that men look older than women.
I don't think they necessarily do. Some do, some don't. My husband is two years older than me but looks ten years younger.

3. can you forgive yourself if you do something bad.
It depends on the reason behind it.

4. can people really change if they try.
Sometimes but it would take more effort than most people can give. And for many people, however hard they try they would not be able to change as.

5. if someone betrays you can you ever trust them again.
If they made the effort to come to me and genuinely show that they are sorry, then yes, I would normally be able to trust them again given time.

If we're talking divine love, then yes, I'd be broke. Nuns take a vow of poverty.

2. why is it that men look older than women.

I actually tend to observe the opposite in many cases.

3. can you forgive yourself if you do something bad.

Not really, no.

4. can people really change if they try.

If they try, yes.

5. if someone betrays you can you ever trust them again.

No. Doesn't mean I won't ever speak to them again, or be around them, but trusting them completely? No.

@1964dodge and @Lane thank you for inviting me;)

1. would you prefer to live for love and be broke or without love and be rich.
I believe money can buy close to everything, just not those things that matter to me the most. So love it is.

2. why is it that men look older than women.
No they don’t.

3. can you forgive yourself if you do something bad.
Yeah, so much easier than if I do something stupid.

4. can people really change if they try.
They can sure change behavior but not personality. Even for the worse without trying lol.

5. if someone betrays you can you ever trust them again.
No. Betrayal is a conscious decision, it’s not an emotional impulse.

Hi guys.
I really hope you are all having a good Friday. Thank you @Lane for the tag. Feeling in need of a little TLC tonight. Perhaps feeling a little vulnerable. Friday, end of the week but always a time to drop off from the precipice I’ve been balancing on.

1. would you prefer to live for love and be broke or without love and be rich.
It’s got be love.

2. why is it that men look older than women.
I think men look better as they age. Women definitely don’t.

3. can you forgive yourself if you do something bad.
No! I don’t deserve anything good.

4. can people really change if they try.
It would be nice if they could but it has to come from them. You can’t change people they have to change themselves.

5. if someone betrays you can you ever trust them again.
I do give people lots of chances but if they break my trust repeatedly, then no. I usually get very hurt in the process.

Super big hugs to everyone. Thank you for being you.

1. would you prefer to live for love and be broke or without love and be rich.
There is a book called "His Needs Her Needs" which says the number one thing most women need is security. (Most women). If you can find a woman that is happy being broke then kudos to you. Same with a man. I define "rich" as having enough money that you don't have to work for a living. I wouldn't want that. I am lower middle class income wise and I am happy with that. I am a hard steady worker and would not have any problems finding a woman to love me. I prefer being single. I can drink, I can smoke a cigar when I want to, all without repercussions. Broke and in love or rich? I am in the middle on that.

2. why is it that men look older than women.
Okay, a bald man with a beer belly looks old. His wife has taken care of herself, uses facial cleanser and makeup, perhaps skin creams etc, gets her eyebrows done, tans. Her appearance matters to her. His appearance does not matter to him, he takes her for granted. "Fetch me a beer hun." Ridiculous.

3. can you forgive yourself if you do something bad.

I find it impossible to forgive myself.

4. can people really change if they try.

I believe they can, yes, and people always change over a period of time because of the circumstances they go through. I've noticed a lot of people on this site are very cynical because of what they have been through. Were their circumstances different, they would be different.

5. if someone betrays you can you ever trust them again.

I consider the Bible to be a book with a lot of wisdom in it. I don't care if you are religious or not, the Bible is a good book. It has this to say in Matthew chapter 7 : 6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. It has this to say about forgiveness; Matthew 18:
21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
If we look at these two passages it seems to be saying the best way to deal with betrayal is to forgive the culprit, continue to be friends with them, be kind to them, but never trust anything of value to them again, and that includes your heart.

After I built my cabinet which was meant to hold small lantern parts I had a lot of stuff setting on my workbench in disarray. I built this shelf unit on the left this week to organize it. I get to work a half hour early and spend 15 minutes of my time and 15 minutes of my half hour lunch working on stuff like this and then I still have time to vape. I set the shelf unit on the counter today and put the stuff on it, looks much neater than it use to.

1. would you prefer to live for love and be broke or without love and be rich. Love and be broke

2. why is it that men look older than women. Maybe the hair loss many men experience with aging. Although, it seems men are considered to be more distinguished looking as they age and women get referred to as haggard.

3. can you forgive yourself if you do something bad. Yes, I can and laugh at myself for the stupid things as well.

4. can people really change if they try. I think it depends on the situation, but more often than not I would say Yes.

5. if someone betrays you can you ever trust them again. Nope, I just can't. I put a very high value on trust and I would prefer to move on and find someone that can be trusted rather than waste my time with someone that I would have constant misgivings about!

Having married for love, at this point I'd much rather have money. I am without love and money at this point in my life.

2. why is it that men look older than women.

Some of it is genetics and men can get away with being older because it makes them look "distinguished" and as someone said women are called crones as they get older so they take better care of themselves.

3. can you forgive yourself if you do something bad.

I have forgiven myself for being human but also have offered it up to God.

4. can people really change if they try.

I think so. Half is recognizing that they are trying.

5. if someone betrays you can you ever trust them again.
I think you can earn trust. I haven't really been betrayed in my personal life but I haven't been offered a promise to earn my trust either.

Hey Mike @1964dodge thanks for opening the cafƩ and inviting me. I haven't been in awhile.

Hmmmm ... we need to work on your definition of easy.

1. would you prefer to live for love and be broke or without love and be rich.
I've been broke my whole life, so being broke AND having love I'm for that.

2. why is it that men look older than women.
Not sure this is always the case. My dad looks younger than my mother and he is older than her by at 7 years. Used to make her irate when people would guess he was younger (and not just a little either). It's a lot to do with genetics, what you eat, how much time you spend in the sun (or tanning bed) and what exercise you do.

3. can you forgive yourself if you do something bad.
As a general rule, no.

4. can people really change if they try.
I sure hope so, because if not I'm soooo screwed.
Seriously though, I've seen people change. I'm not saying everyone does, but people have the ability.

5. if someone betrays you can you ever trust them again.
Nobody has ever managed to regain my trust. I'm not saying it isn't possible, but once you loose my trust it's probably going to take a miracle to get it back.

4. can people really change if they try.

I believe they can if they are sincere about it.

5. if someone betrays you can you ever trust them again.
