@KindaOtiose :) Glad you’re here with us! As a new staffer, you get to buss the tables and wash the dishes. :)

@Champagne, my favourite breakfast - in Paris or small Swiss village - croissants and loads of butter and some jam, real coffee with steamed milk. Mmmm!

1. When was the last time you did something for the first time?
Today. I cooked fried quinoa-rice with some veggies. Have never tried it with quinoa. Worked very well!

2. How do you show gratitude for the things you already have?
I remind myself that I am very fortunate; I try to give to others.

3. Are you afraid of making mistakes even though there aren't any punishments at all?
Sometimes. I like to do a good job of things and feel embarrassed if I make careless errors.

4. What would you do if you knew you could not fail?
Write a fabulous best-seller, literary novel.

5. Who is your role model? It can be on here or IRL or both.
SF members - we are determined survivors; lots of my friends irl are great role models, too.

Wishing everyone a wonderful day! :)

Tysm for the tag @Champagne & for opening the cafe! Cool q's too, I'll answer them now :) Also, nice pix! :)
I don't have a diff. kind of breakfast on Sunday vs. other days, if I ever had a person to do that with then I'd definitely love it a lot. Oh well, each person is just here for different things I know so some people are lucky & have that and others aren't, no point in a person hanging their head in shame for not having it :) My fave breakfast things are eggs benedict, hash browns, sausages, bacon, eggs (fried or in an omelet are my faves) and pancakes. Ya I guess there aren't many breakfast things I don't like really lol.

1. When was the last time you did something for the first time?
Today.

2. How do you show gratitude for the things you already have?
Sending as much positive, loving energy to life and to all the forms of life, writing down things I'm grateful for each day & just doing my best to focus on the things I'm grateful for. Also helping others when I'm able to, trying to be compassionate, understanding and present to help them feel less alone with whatever challenges they are facing in their life and letting them know that in a clear, loving, comforting & reassuring way. The more people I can help the happier, better and more valuable of a person I am in this world I think :) To say I find it "rewarding" to do that would be a huge understatement for sure.

3. Are you afraid of making mistakes even though there aren't any punishments at all?

As most others have said, yes.

4. What would you do if you knew you could not fail?

Run at least 5 times per week to drop the weight I want to lose so I can have at least a 10-20% chance of a guy maybe wanting me again someday (chances right now are prob. barely 5% if that). Eat a lot better so I def. did not gain more too.

5. Who is your role model? It can be on here or IRL or both.

Mark Hamill, definitely :)

Love this thread. Here are my answers:

1. When was the last time you did something for the first time?

In April or so, I entered the Writers Digest yearly Short Story contest. And I placed! I came in 6th in the Genre short story category (SF&F, Mystery, Romance etc). P.s. the contest as a whole had over 4,000 entrants.

2. How do you show gratitude for the things you already have?

I thank my husband every day for being my soul mate.

3. Are you afraid of making mistakes even though there aren't any punishments at all?

Definitely.

4. What would you do if you knew you could not fail?

I'm currently writing a dark Fantasy novel based on the short story that placed in the Writers Digest contest. If it fails to attract a publisher, I will self-publish it.

5. Who is your role model? It can be on here or IRL or both.

I have a ton! Mr. Spock from Star Trek was always one of my role models, and Sherlock Holmes. I believe in logic. I also have several creative (writing) role models: Iain Banks, JK Rowling, Tomson Highway, Milan Kundera, Steig Larsson, Charlaine Harris.... and many more. Spiritual: Julia Cameron, Ekhart Tolle

Where do you find these questions? Some are pretty fascinating. Or you're very imaginative. ^^

Hope everyone's having/had a beautiful day here. *grouphug2

1. When was the last time you did something for the first time?
This month, but I won't say what. *shock

2. How do you show gratitude for the things you already have?
I don't know... I enjoy these things to the fullest? I try not complaining. For people I really try showing them in many ways and somewhat regularly, I guess.

3. Are you afraid of making mistakes even though there aren't any punishments at all?
Of course I am, who isn't? Sometimes we fear fear itself or other feelings as if they were punishments.

4. What would you do if you knew you could not fail?
Right now just TAKE THE DRIVING TEST. PLEASE. (Yes, I do have a date in October.)

5. Who is your role model? It can be on here or IRL or both.
Every person I ever meet is a role model in some way, irl, online and on SF.

If you like metal do you know Finntroll? They just put out a new album and I'm excited!
You also mentioned Henry Rollins. Have you seen He Never Died? Excellent, oddly hilarious movie, if you appreciate dry humor and don't mind gore/violence. It's on Netflix.
I actually haven't heard of that one, guess I have some more to listen to! 😄 I've wanted to watch that one so bad, I've heard a lot of good things about it. I definitely dont really mind either of these things when it comes to film, thanks for the suggestions!

Thank you @Champagne! And thank you @Kiwi2016 for tagging me, sorry I’m a little late >o<

I can have about anything for breakfast lol :) I don’t have one most of the time and only eat once it’s lunchtime (I get nauseous in the morning often), but in the rare times I really feel like having breakfast, cheese and mushroom omelet would be my top pick ^^

1. When was the last time you did something for the first time?
I can’t really say as I don’t remember haha. Things have been in a state of plateau these days.

2. How do you show gratitude for the things you already have?
Giving back is always my expression of gratitude :)

3. Are you afraid of making mistakes even though there aren't any punishments at all?
Yes, all the time ^^”

4. What would you do if you knew you could not fail?

Ones that I like are the role model ones whether joke and jest for me or for real. Working from home my typical attire is boxer shorts or not and just swing freely here and t-shirts with a bent towards history. Favorites for me.

Hannibal Barca, enemy of Rome.

Belisarius Eastern Roman Empire general.

Turenne, French General.

Tamerlane.

Caligula, a major weirdo like me. :)

Attila, Huns in the sun, a joke one.

The flag at the Alamo.

Gustavus Adolphus, Swedish king and general from the 17th Century.

Genghis Khan.

US Navy Revolutionary War flag.

What I get a laugh out of it how many see Tour/World Tour and ask... Is that a band, LOL, no, it is history, biography two things I do actually have a zeal for?

Can we guess at #1?!.;) /(_that sound like 👍 fun 🤩 ) j/k... there’s a comedy from the 80’s, but I can’t quite think of the name of the movie, but the driver is going to take their test, and the super strict & rigid instructor is like, ~*•> // _goes & sets his styrofoam cup of coffee with no lid on the dash of the car in front of him as he’s seated in the passenger front seat 💺 !_ ;) ...& so yeah, the whole gag or thing is like - if you don’t spill the coffee you pass (& of course, I can’t remember, because - rumor has it that the 80’s was some time ago; though maybe 🤔 not in my mind!) ha :D but I believe there was quite a bit of action / adventure that took place or transpired in their “test!” Heh heh Heh! 😆 😂
