1) What's something that you think will always be in fashion? Do you have an item of clothing that you cant part with or is has special meaning to you?

Does sex and money count? LOL

2) What mythical creature do you wish actually existed?

Wendigo.

3) What are the most important rules when going on a date? (Even if you dont date, have never been on a date, humor me)

To NOT take off your shoes and socks and bite your toenails while at the supper table.

4) If you were moving to another country and could take one carry-on bag, what would you pack?

5) What's the hardest you ever worked?

Helping out some of the neighbors when they need assistance with some work on their tractors and plows, heavy work and often out in the heat and sun.

Hey @Lane thank you for the tag. Theres a lot of snow where I live, has been for a while now, ugh. Hopefully they take care of the roads where you live. Think of your time home as hibernating haha but I do hope your day ended well.

1. T-shirts will always be around I think. My fav item is a pair of jeans I've had for about 10yrs now, I have to wear leggings cause of the holes.
2. Gargoyle, I need a protector to fly me away.
3. There are rules?!
4. I'd pack diapers, wipes, blankies and the hippo.
5. The hardest I have ever worked was probably raising my kid, going to college, and owning my own cleaning business, before I married.
Hope everyone has/had a great day today.

Thanks for the tag @Lane :)

Ooooh... Lovely snow! We had one day of snow a couple of weeks ago but I'm definitely ready for some more 🤞🏻

1) What's something that you think will always be in fashion? Do you have an item of clothing that you cant part with or is has special meaning to you?
Dr Martens boots. I love them - I'd be gutted if they ever went.

I have a leather biker jacket that I bought myself on the last day of my cancer treatment as a well done for getting through it treat. I can't actually fit into it anymore but hopefully one day I'll get it back on again.

2) What mythical creature do you wish actually existed?
Pegasus - so I could have a horse again and fly off to cool places too :)

3) What are the most important rules when going on a date? (Even if you dont date, have never been on a date, humor me)
Make sure your nails are clean (it's a real pet peeve of mine), always pay your way and no burping or farting *hysterical

4) If you were moving to another country and could take one carry-on bag, what would you pack?
Photos, my grandma's pearls and a jar of marmite.

5) What's the hardest you ever worked?
When I was a display artist the store openings were really hard work. The builders and fitters always finished late so I generally only had around 2 or 3 days to get the store ready for opening. It normally meant working day and night and only getting a couple of hours sleep on a chair in the office. It was good fun though.
Number On's anser is AWE-SEOM! : ) (both of them!) :)

Thank you @Lane for opening the cafe and inviting me.

Pic below from my front door. Cat footprints, he ran out, then said, "hell no". Ran right back in the house.
I remember this from when I was married and we had dogs. A few of them were small and their genitals would freeze in the snow and they would want back in like "Hell no!"

1) What's something that you think will always be in fashion? Do you have an item of clothing that you cant part with or is has special meaning to you?

Not really fashionable but Carharrt clothing will always be in with the working man. Carharrt pants, favorite rock and roll t-shirt,a flannel shirt, Carharrt bib overalls, a Carharrt coat with hood, these will always be the working man's winter style.

2) What mythical creature do you wish actually existed?

The Phoenix. It is a fascinating story. It dies about every 500 years and rises from the fiery ashes renewed. I began using this logo on my social media after my divorce. My divorce devastated me but I rose from the ashes and came back stronger than ever.

3) What are the most important rules when going on a date? (Even if you dont date, have never been on a date, humor me)

1) This is written from a heterosexual male viewpoint.
2) You should offer to pick her up, and your car should be clean; clean it before you go, wiping down the dash and everything. Get rid of the junk behind the driver seat.
3) When you arrive at her house go up to the door and ring the doorbell, do not sit in the driveway and honk the horn.
4) Give her your arm to hold on if she willl take it as you go out to the car.
5) Open the car door for her if she will let you; you should know before hand if she is independent and does not like traditional role gestures.
6) Wear a clean blue button down shirt with a plain white t-shirt underneath, leave two buttons open at the top of the shirt. Jeans for a first date; a first date should be informal, open, and friendly.
7) A first date should be a a coffee bar of some sort, maybe with alcohol, but alcohol should be limited. This avoids the commitment of a long time dinner date; if you hit it off you can ask her to dinner or a movie.
8) Conversation; if she takes the lead in the conversation then let her, respond with all your heart, put some effort into it. If she does not take the lead then you do; ask about her music likes, whether she has any pets, her preference in art, etc; keep the conversation flowing smoothly back and forth. Whatever you do, never lie to your date, always be perfectly honest.
9) When it is time to go home walk her to the front door; she might wait to see if you open the car door for her. I am older, so this is common. Ask if you can hug her, but do not move in for a kiss or anything more physical than a hug.
10 Text her the next day, in the afternoon, telling her what a great time you had. Invite her for dinner on the next date if you hit it off.

4) If you were moving to another country and could take one carry-on bag, what would you pack?
I'm sorry but a carry on bag wouldn't do it for me. I would have a bag stuffed full of some of my tools.

5) What's the hardest you ever worked?

I was about 12 and my neighbors had a chicken barn. One night the power went off, shutting off the vents in the barn, and the alarm failed so they never turned on the auxiliary power. About 2000 chickens died. The next day us 4 boys had the task of picking up the chickens and putting them in a front end loader. Never forgot that.

2) What mythical creature do you wish actually existed?

3) What are the most important rules when going on a date? (Even if you dont date, have never been on a date, humor me)

The cat is wise. We are good at finding warm places to sleep through the day.

I'm from a tropical country so I've never experienced natural snow before. I think it's like rain but colder, I guess.

What's something that you think will always be in fashion? Do you have an item of clothing that you cant part with or is has special meaning to you?
- I guess unisex and grayscale (black, white, gray, grey colors) clothes. Not something fashion though, I have a collection of mangas that is valuable, because they are pretty rare to find and I feel like I'm the only one who is interest in them.

What mythical creature do you wish actually existed?
- Angels. I'm struggling with faith right now. Maybe I should answer your question with "God"? I don't know, please skip this one.

What are the most important rules when going on a date? (Even if you dont date, have never been on a date, humor me)
- You must ask the person you are dating 3 questions:
  1. What are their quest?
  2. What are their favorite color?
  3. Most importantly, What is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?
(Thanks to The Knights Who Said "Ni!", I gave them a shrubbery for this as I've never had been on a date)

If you were moving to another country and could take one carry-on bag, what would you pack?

- Documents (a valid passport, valid visas, a legit COVID-negative certificate, etc.), medicines (especially the ones that cannot be found in other countries than yours), local cashes (as not everywhere on Earth has banks, well you can always work or beg at site for money) and some handful knowledge about the country you are about to move to (highlight local customs, some useful phrases, embassy contacts, etc.)

Things like clothes, necessities and food can be found locally with or without money, depending on the hospitalization of the people. Remember, you are far more likely to find good and hospital people, rather than just the bad ones.

What's the hardest you ever worked?
- I am doing one right now. It's called trying not to kill myself. It's getting harder days by days.

It's a struggle when those days are so dark. I hope you can find a moment of peace @johnDoen . I'm going to google manga. Thanks for adding to my curiosity today. *hug10

@Bbear82 I'm glad that you joined the cafe yesterday and I added you to my handwritten list of SF members, although sometimes i miss a person.

I cant know the heartbreak of losing a child and I'm sorry for your loss. I think you were brave to raise her so young, if you dont me saying so.
