Hmm, is it just me or convenient opportunities keep knocking on my door? And that I can't resist opening it? While we're on the topic of butts, this reminds me of another war story I have to share.

*takes out a cigarette and lights it*

(Warning: This story contains partial adult content and may not be suitable for some readers. If you may find this kind of content offensive, please ignore the rest of this post.)

Gather around once again, my friends.

It was 1988. I was 4 years old. Still innocent. Still cute. Still young. (You're probably asking, what the hell happened now? I wish I knew. Those days are over.) It was a cold November night, and it was around close to 1AM in the morning. I had been tucked to sleep by my mother a few hours prior, but something caused me to wake up. It turned out I had to pee. My bladder was full to the brim, and I was about to burst something fierce if I didn't use the potty. The burning sensation (not THAT kind of burning sensation; I mean the pressurized kind) was tearing through my lower groin like a hot knife through butter. Or perhaps to be more thorough, an experienced porno actor entering a virgin amateur on their first video shoot.

I had to go to the bathroom BAD, to the point where if I didn't go I was bound to wet the bed in a massive ocean of mellow yellow (quite rightly). But there was just one problem that prevented me from doing so.

I had woken up in time and to my absolute sheer horror, to the cringing sounds of my parents... well, having sex. It wasn't the kind of sex that normal couples have, it was the kind of sex where it was "Keep-your-moans-low-enough-so-that-the-kids-can't-hear-us-even-though-we're-not-doing-a-very-good-job-of-it". We lived in a small apartment with two separate beds in the living room at the time, so even with the TV on at a low volume, and with my fox-like-hearing, it wasn't exactly difficult to discern what was happening.

With the covers pulled over my head, I was frozen in a cocoon-like state of horror, mortification, and national intrigue at the same time. Here I was, curled into the fetal position trapped within the warmth of my blanket, my bladder nearly about to bust open like an untreated diseased sore on a street corner hooker, and the nauseating sounds of repeating love making, and I could hear my father saying "Shh!" every five seconds. I was in a dilly of a pickle, trapped between a rock (almost typed cock) and a hard place, you could say.

(That pun was intentional).

What was I ever to do? If I chose to pretend that I was still asleep, surely I'd have wet the bed. I couldn't just casually get up and use the bathroom while my parents were doing the deed because that would've caused a most awkward situation that nobody would've lived down for years to come. So after pondering on my escape plan for at least ten minutes, my bladder hitting its limit, I came up with the only plausible performance.

I let out a long and fake yawn, loud enough to cause a disturbance in the room.

Suddenly the sickening noises stopped. My ears perked up, and I knew that was my cue. I decided to let out another fake yawn to reconfirm to my mom and dad I was indeed, awake and ready to urinate. If I didn't get the bathroom a moment sooner, well, let's just say I would've released enough liquid to make R. Kelly's stream look like a mere trickle in comparison. I decided to wait about a moment for my parents to realize that I was up and awake, in order to give them a reprieve. I thought maybe they wouldn't notice that I didn't notice them noticing that I noticed they were in the same bed, and to put them on notice on my waking up that I noticed I had to use the bathroom.

As soon as I rose up from the covers, I slowly opened my eyes just in time to see the massive, man-shaped blur that was father suddenly dash toward the bed that I was sleeping on. I was damned horrified to see a quick nude blur take a diving leap towards the bed, and even more traumatized to see the flash of my father's bare buttocks fly right my face as he crashed onto the bed and under his own blanket, his weight nearly breaking the entire frame of the bed from his sudden near somersault. I swear if I didn't know it any better he nearly did a handstand in order to get the bed so fast, so he thought I wouldn't realize what was going on. Oh, but I knew. And his pathetic cover up? Even more painfully obvious to any sleepy and untrained eye.

"GO TO BED, SON!!! YOU'RE HAVING A NIGHTMARE!" My dad exasperated out of nowhere, as he wrapped himself in his own bedsheets, while sounding out of breath. I was trying so hard not to laugh for some reason, only because I knew that was a bold faced lie, but at the same time, it was the truth.

My dad was lying to me to cover up an adult situation from me as a lie, but the truth was, from a technical standpoint, it was a nightmare for me to witness and have heard. Either way, I was determined to let loose and I didn't really want to spend the night soaked in my own urine.

"Dad, I just woke up - I really have to use the bathroom!" I said in my tinny 4 year old voice, and of course - my mummified father didn't move an inch from within the darkness, he just told me to get up and go use it. I stumbled around off the bed and dashed to the bathroom, still letting out groggy noises as to trick my parents into thinking I was clueless as to what was going on. Several minutes later, I came back into the living room, my dad having shut the TV off and the radio on, and I climbed back into the bed to go back to sleep. Sadly, my mental trauma prevented me from doing so, and thankfully, my dad didn't try to initiate anything further with my mom for the rest of the night (or many years after that).

For the next couple of years until I finished elementary school would I continue to have actual brief nightmares of seeing a hairy, saggy 40 something year old butt flashing before my eyes before hearing a loud diving thud. It was a never ending lullaby - butt, thud, butt, thud, butt, thud. Flash of the butt, followed by the diving thud. I'd literally wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat, screaming while having heart palpitations. It was torturous beyond belief, and no amount of therapy could've hoped to cure it.

So what's the moral of this story? There is none. I just pray that if you've been a kid at some point in your life and you've heard your folks pounding the pork (or even worse, you're grandfolks jerking the jerky), you learned not to say a damn thing and pretend you were asleep the entire time.

Until next time, my friends...

Oh @Emerald Hyperion I think I heard some whispers re the interview that although they have plenty of applicants you are up for grabs if you want the job.....
Well, Miss Innocent thank you for telling me that! ;) If I ever end up doing this again I'll keep it a surprise. At least I don't have to set up another heist to steal the keys again. Gotta admit, the planning takes longer than the actual robbing. Even better now I don't have to worry about getting lost anymore trying to find you guys - I was getting kinda tired of being murdered by murderous murderers out in the middle of nowhere. It was severely lowering my net worth by a few grand each time (in the negative zone).

I just dictated a glowing reference letter to the secretary and she's typing it up on the Underwood as we speak. The girl's amazing, does 120 words a minute. I asked her to mimeograph a copy for our records and put it in the file cabinet. Think I'll grab my straw hat, go down to the building lobby, purchase a New York Herald Tribune and enjoy a nice cigar while I have my Winklepickers shined.
Damn, Machina! 120 WPM??! I can barely do 70! They asked me when can I start and I told them "Tuesday".... followed by "Halloween". Must remind myself to put your name on my real resume next time I apply for another data entry job that plans on rejecting me in advance. Got a feeling it will bring me luck this time. :p

Hyperion more good stuff!! Love the cover letter!!!! Hope it cools off for you today and you can chill out a bit. A wet towel around the neck can do wonders btw. :)
LOL, Thanks, Wiltingone. At least today was a lot better and it was actually cold today. Not that I was complaining, though! Next time if its a humid day I'll remember to use a towel, so thank you for that advice.

Well, guys, I'm sorry I didn't show my face here more often - the past three days had me feeling a little ragged. I didn't get much sleep the other night so it made me feel like a zombie. Still kinda feel that way right now. So I'm lying on my back in the sand in the middle of the beach, the waves crashing around me, 12:56AM in the morning. And not a single mishap this time, something is way wrong if I hosted a get-together and I didn't have any accidents. Or deaths, for that matter.

*I place the cafè keys in @Innocent Forever's hand* Here you go, Inno, back to where they belong. I was originally planning a reverse robbery where I snuck BACK into the place to put the keys back, but that wouldn't be fun, eh?

I'm soooo tired... falling asleep.... right now.... *falls backward onto the sand and slowly falls asleep* ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz.......

*a few minutes pass by, and the tide swoops in and carries my sleeping body out to sea, the strong current carrying me off into the horizon in the dark night*

*as my body drifts into the far distance, the fin of a great white shark can be seen steadily swimming towards my body...*

(... Bad end?)

Lol, at least they were involved in a completely natural part of life, and not focused on fucking you up mentally for the next fifty years. Or... Hmmmm
You're lucky:) When I was that age I used to lie in my bed in terror of going to the bathroom and waking up the violent giant in the other room.

I've always been a deep sleeper. I'd only wake up when my grand aunts would start brewing the coffee. Ahhhh, memory! It'll get you every time if you aren't careful.

That makes two of us, Machina. Little kids these days think that anyone over 30 is already pushing senior citizen status. Once had a 12 year old call me "Pops" when I was just fresh of 31. I told the kid in response that calling your elders old isn't a good thing - call a thirty-something year old man old you're liable to get a paddlin'. Call a thirty-something year old lady old and you're liable to get your teeth knocked out.

LOL, I was lucky in a way - but no so lucky when it came to my older cousins, their personal practice was beating the shit out of me when I was little, my one cousin in particular (the cousin whose breasts I accidentally grabbed during a game of Twister I mentioned awhile back). She used to beat me up something fierce everyday whenever I visited her home in Brooklyn. Thanks to her, that is how I developed my fetish for being a masochist. Oh, and I also had a babysitter at age nine, the babysitter had two daughters that were much older than me who used to take great pleasure in beating me up, putting me in wrestling holds (choking me, headlocks, pinning me, twisting my arms in directions they weren't meant to go), eating up my snacks I bought after school, tearing up my homework, and one of them even sat on me to torture me. Did I like it? No....

(Okay, I was lying. I loved it. But I eventually got my revenge on one of the daughters, though.)

When you mentioned about being caring not to wake the giant, you kinda reminded me of that old board game Don't Wake Daddy. And also, Machina... my dad is apparently bipolar, he's said some really hurtful things to me as a kid and teenager and even adult. It really stuck with me for many years... so in a way I got some mental damage in that department myself. No one would've guessed unless I mentioned it out loud.

I used to be a medium sleeper but now I'm a light sleeper, literally any noise or sensation can wake me up. When I was in my teens, and when I was sleeping, I used to feel some bizarre sensations on my leg in the middle of the night. Sometimes I would feel what felt like a human hand on my leg. When I would suddenly wake up and look around, there was literally no one there. What's even more strange is that in the morning, I always found red scratch marks all over my legs. Years later I still can't understand or even explain this.

Anyway, I love the smell of brewed coffee in the morning. However for me, usually the first thing I'd hear in the morning was my dad letting out a gigantic morning fart. You've must have ESP or something because that same night I last posted here I let out the BIGGEST bomb in my sleep, it sounded like a shotgun going off in the middle of the night. Wish I recorded it on video.

Thanks for making me laugh, Emerald. I'm going to bed soon, so hopefully I won't have nightmares about what I read
You're welcome, Witty, I'm glad I did! :D I know I'm replying a little late on this, but let me do a retroactive response and say have a good night and sleep well, and I hope you don't have any bad dreams. My dad's behind is something no kind soul should ever have to see in their nightmares...

Lol Hyperion!!!

No methods!!! Jk!!!

''Tis a fine, or fin, ending as the shark fin was strapped to Innocent's back. She wanted her keys back and has a great sense of humor.
LOL, I see what you did there, Wiltingone... Whew, its a good thing the shark fin belong to Inno. For a moment there I thought I was shark bait and if I got eaten, my net worth would've dropped down ANOTHER couple hundred thousand, it's bad enough its already in the red!

Look what happens when @Emerald Hyperion opens up......
well, I'll miss the cafe when I'm away. (hopefully I'll be able to come on) but with @Emerald Hyperion @shania @DrownedFishOnFire and @Ash600 on the job.... :)
Ahhhh!!! Where are you going, Miss Innocent?! *runs after you in chibi form, wailing* Don't go! I'm gonna miss you while you're away! And so will everyone else too! Don't worry, leave it us! We'll be on duty and we'll keep things running until you get back! *hugs* Hopefully by then, I won't have any more accidents or covered in bloody bandages.

No comment, I mean that's not always true...never done that, yet. Because I don't have steel toed boots. I mean, refined ladies don't do that sort of thing ;) (I don't really advocate violence, just me telling a lame joke.)

LOL, hey, I laughed! And why does the thought of getting injured by steel toed boots (with spikes sticking out) intrigue me?! I mean, I probably wouldn't think of it as being violent... probably just dishing out some well-earned punishment!

That's good! I mean, the sleeping well, part, not the seeing much worse part... because there's a lot of things in life that can't be unseen unfortunately. And if one sees too many things that should be unseen, it gets to the point where it longer even affects them - I remember once I went to a site where you "run a gauntlet" where you watch a series of shocking and violent videos, and by the time I got to the end about a half hour later, I was like... "That's it? That's the best they got?" and said all this while I was eating chicken fingers (not actual chicken fingers; don't think chickens even HAVE fingers) and fries.

Speaking of punishments, I suddenly reminded myself of the time during my senior year in high school a girl had spanked me openly in math class. Literally laid me on her lap and she spanked me right in front of all our classmates. I didn't even feel embarrassed, in fact, I was made whole that day.

.... man, what a bizarre life I've lived. o_O

Why does it seem like women enjoy beating the shit out of you?! Oh well, at least you enjoy it, haha. I think I'm pretty desensitized to a lot of stuff, but things that happen in the world still bother me, so maybe I'm not as unaffected as I thought.

Jim’s Café - 2 October: Autistic boys; hooray for 43 moons!

Must be a pretty cool coffee shop if there’s an autistic kid hanging out in the back. Since I’m set on that spectrum, autism evokes special feelings for me. There’s something about the ears that stick out, like mine do. (And so did President Obama’s!) An autistic person can seem like quite a pill at first, all absorbed up into himself with little concern for the world beyond a 24-inch radius. But then, so is a yellow tiger swallowtail butterfly, as it sips nectar at a lilac bush. Yet we love the beautiful butterfly; love how its wings open and clap back together, slowly and rhythmically.

Autistic people are like butterflies. Focused mostly on the flower in front of them, and easily scared off by the talkative “normal” types who seem so garrulous to them. On this planet, the last thing you’re gonna find is a normal thing. Everything real’s unique; normal is all the same. Let’s be real to one another.

Sorry I can’t log on every day; I must cut computer time to help my back & leg get better. Named citations to @HumanExMachina, @PaladinoOfKnights, @Polly Anne; but there are far more of you than I can name accurately with the “@” command. (And accurately down to the last dotted i you must, or Mr. @ will not ring their bell!) All welcome, and all aboard! (Horn sounds as ship leaves port.)

This is a question I've been asking myself for years, Witty. I have absolutely no clue. I always seem to attract people with the most evil of intentions for some reason, like I bring out the worst in others. Maybe its my face or something?! Once I had a woman threaten to murder me because I didn't sleep with her (she was sleeping around with some other guys). I was always generally nice and courteous to her just because. Somehow she figured out I was masochist (even though I never gave a hint to it whatsoever) and despite the death threats, she told me I seemed like the type who would like getting the living daylights beat out of me by her. The only thing I could think to say to her at the time was "Your place or mine?" I was only kidding. She was not amused, but when she threatened to snap my neck like a twig, I decided it was best to keep my trap shut and stayed clear of her.

For the record, she slammed another guy's face into the wall so hard it made an actual crater-like dent. Dude had blood running down his face and everything when I saw him a few minutes later. Masochism is one thing but bloody murder isn't...

For another record, I had a crush on a girl named Amy in 6th grade - when I first started talking to her she was the only girl in history to get me in a bear hug and German suplex me to the marble floor. I was in so much pain but I fell in love quickly afterwards. After that I can't begin to count the many times she put me in suffocating headlocks, body slammed me, grabbed my hair and ripped it out by the root, gave me friendly noogies, and the bone crushing bear hugs.

When it comes to desensitizing, I envy you, Witty... I kinda wish I could still know what its like to feel some kind of reaction to things, but after having my soul and faith crushed by so many people and things, it left me wrecked emotionally.

@pooky That's a mighty delicious looking cake, pooky! Wish I had a real piece right about now! The sweet tooth's been running full circle with me lately. *takes a bite of cake* Ohhhhh, now I wish it was my birthday already!

@NoneKnowNothingness Wait... None, you're on the autism spectrum too? I thought I was the only one around here. My god, I wish I could say I was proud to be an aspie but sadly being autistic has held me back from accomplishing most things normal people could easily excel at. Not to mention social interactions have been stonewalling me for as long as I can remember. Sometimes I'm too afraid to tell anyone because I don't want anyone to give themselves an excuse to treat me differently, but eventually people figure out I'm not a conformist and then all hell breaks loose. Don't get me wrong, being unique is a great thing, but man, why does it always seem like uniqueness is always looked down on by the normal crowd (to me, at least). Its a struggle kind of wanting to be accepted for who we are and it will always be...

Well, time for me to go work on some art. See ya folks around!

Geez, I'm sorry to hear that. People can just be really mean and hateful and unreasonable. I've never really attracted violent people, more like users and stalkers, aren't I lucky :P I am mostly a sensitive person, so I guess that's why I am not completely desensitized yet....but some days I don't feel like I have many emotions left.

Its cool, its all gravy! You're right though... some people can be really crappy. I wish I could go back in time and give every single one of those people a good (Taylor) swift kick in the ass. I remember when you used to mention that about the users and stalkers, and I'm also truly sorry that you've had to experience that. I've been used by many people myself so I know what its like, just seen as an asset and not a person. I've been stalked at least once - had someone stalk an old blog of mine many years ago back in 2005 for nearly three years, didn't even realize it until way later. Even tried to spread lies about me to my then-girlfriend at the time (had her own blog too; which is how we met). I really couldn't do much about it until I eventually made my blog private, which stopped it.

(Okay, that Taylor Swift pun was lame as hell. I know.)

I'm sensitive too (well we're both Pisces so that makes sense). I remember when something bugged or hurt me it would last for days on end, but because of my depression it kinda withered away the sensitivity. Its still there in segments, but I kinda bounce back from feeling down much faster than I used to be. There's never anything wrong with being sensitive, I'd say - shows a real, true human side to a person. But I get what you mean... after so long, its like, what is there left to really feel? And the concept to live an entire life without being able to experience things more often like love, joy, and happiness is depressing. I'd kill to have those feelings again myself.

Tell you what, Witty, we should work on building a booby traps so if more users and stalkers happen to dare show their face, they're in for a rude awakening. Don't think they're gonna be too happy about falling into spike traps, alligator ponds, swinging logs, or being suspended upside down in the air. Or maybe a giant trained dog with really sharp teeth will make them think twice about trying to get anywhere near you.
