I don't think I could pick one only. I suppose it would have to be Doctor Who as I grew up with Tom Baker as The Doctor. The daleks are so ingrained in my consciousness. As an adult Star Trek TNG and Voyager come close seconds. Mind you it's funny watching them with their square screen set up these days since everything went wide screen!

Ah, my favorite TV show! It's so hard to pick one! I think Star Trek: Picard is a serious contender. It's not perfect, but I found the representation of sapphic love so important. I enjoy all new Trek, and Discovery is fantastic, but I'm also so emotional enamored of the 90's Trek characters as a gal from 90's, even if I don't like all the choices the shows made with them. I also terribly enjoy the new She-Ra. The characters are all delightful and I love the character arcs and the worldbuilding.
But if I'm picking just one, it's gonna be Steven Universe. I think there are flaws in the series resulting from the business of television getting in the way of the art, but I think it's otherwise a masterpiece.

My thoughts on new Trek:
I really dislike how many recurring characters the Picard series killed. I think they deserved FAR better than they got. I also am really unusual in that I love Seven and Raffi being a broken-up couple. I think the queer community has been so starved for representation for so long that so many of us are livid they broke up, but it's so real!
I'd have to go with Jojo's Bizarre Adventure as my favourite show. I have a real fondness for any show where if you try to explain the plot, it sounds more like recounting a fever dream you had, and JJBA is the absolute best for that.
The best part: That's just the plot of part 1. The show gets exponentially weirder and more complicated as it goes on. I debated using the part 4 video as a good example, but the plot by part 4 is so complicated that going at the same pace, and glossing over the same amount of unnecessary information, it takes the same woman 16 minutes to recount it all.
In terms of shows with actual serious stuff to say though, that win me over with nuanced, complex character writing, i'd probably have to go with Bojack Horseman. It's a genuinely fascinating show that takes a real unflinching look at what it even means to be a good or bad person, how hard it can be to fairly evaluate ourselves, and how complex it can be to try to be good and make good choices, in spite of the damage that's been done to us throughout our lives. It's an incredibly philosophical show, presented through the lens of a goofy cartoon about a alcoholic talking horse.

Lol @foundlostsoul ~* ...I'm happy you know her! I watched that movie like every day in the summer when it came out on HBO (new for them at the time, so must've been like ~'92ish?). But so anyway(s): I remember the Original She Ra (from He-Man, right?) 
And yes, I can see under your spoiler there, how that would indeed make you feel & quite rightfully so! I'd hope that, and this is assuming that the Picard series was from a while ago! ...but that they'd do a little bit better w/their character choices & Fates, in-store and such moving forward for reasons specifically as you've suggested. But also just from a mere representation standpoint. I think it is healthy & good for every body to be seeing them this way. Just as equals and normals (to every-one else, & so on. . . ) // Yes this thread is making want to re-up my Netflix subsript. once again. If I can only figure out how~

No matter how resilient you are, it will break you, several times over. The first season does a good job of disarming you and opening you up to it being a silly show, so it suckerpunching you out of nowhere feels like part of the intended experience. But i can't in good conscience lead people into that trap, i have to forewarn them, cos it gets really hard to watch. If you're into it though, it's genuinely one of the best shows ever, specifically cos it doesn't hold back in the slightest.
JJBA has its serious heartbreaking moments, but it's largely a much lighter show about fighting vampires with sunlight punches, or people standing and posing at each other while they summon various entities to do weird things to each other (part 3 introduces stands, and it completely changes how the entire show works). It's a very cool time, cos it's all centred around the fights, which are a lot more of a mindgame than most fights in other shows. It's very cleverly written. Like i've never seen another show where a character could win a fight by turning their heart into a Mobius strip, but JJBA does it so naturally you don't even question it. Or there's a fight a guy wins by turning a brick into a snake. Or the guy whose entire fighting style is to create zippers on things, which is surprisingly effective because of how he uses it.

Awesome! Omg there are SO MANY episodes I have not seen of FG, dunno if I’ll EVER be able to even see them all, lol. Been meaning to do a search to see what the latest season # even is now, guessing it is at least 20+ by now though. Back when I had cable, I would always be trying to find what channel it was on (reruns most of the time of course, lol) same with Friends, I never got tired of either of those shows and was glad they were usually on at least 1 or more channels almost every night of the week They especially gave me a lot of comfort when I lived alone for sure, thank god for comedy and especially GOOD comedy like they both are, probably wouldn’t even be alive today without it, literally helped me “hold on” in some of the darkest moments of my life.
Awesome! Omg there are SO MANY episodes I have not seen of FG, dunno if I’ll EVER be able to even see them all, lol. Been meaning to do a search to see what the latest season # even is now, guessing it is at least 20+ by now though. Back when I had cable, I would always be trying to find what channel it was on (reruns most of the time of course, lol) same with Friends, I never got tired of either of those shows and was glad they were usually on at least 1 or more channels almost every night of the week
They especially gave me a lot of comfort when I lived alone for sure, thank god for comedy and especially GOOD comedy like they both are, probably wouldn’t even be alive today without it, literally helped me “hold on” in some of the darkest moments of my life.

If I may vent for a bit 🤣
that they killed both Hugh and Icheb made me super sad. I loved both of them and their character arcs. Killed both of the minor character XBs (ex-Borg) was too much. Same for the death of Ro Laren. Like, why? She was ALSO such a good character.
I despised the JJ Trek movies as Trek movies. They blew up Romulus in the prime universe and stole prime universe Spock entirely for the sake of making a space action movie? I mean, I like a space action movie, but that's not what Trek is for. And if they had to do that, why did they have to muck up the prime universe? Drop a few hints it was one of the numerous parallel universes to satisfy canon. However! Picard managed to salvage that plot line and address how absolutely tragic and destabalizing that event had to be for the universe. It actually takes those events and makes them meaningful and even touching.
