I decided to post this early so I don't forget again :D So I lost 8 pounds recently, which is awesome. Saw someone new today, and she gave me information not only about healthy eating, but how to be healthy in all aspects of life. I have to stick to a whole food, plant based diet, which will be a big change for me. I even have to limit the amount of dairy and meat that I have, so it will almost be like a vegetarian diet in some ways. I've also been prescribed an injectable medication called Saxenda, which I have to take daily. It will curb my appetite so I'll only eat when I am actually hungry. What are your fitness goals for this month?

Actually I can't take the med because they want to charge me $2,000 a month. So I just need to keep going on my own.

Found my strengths in swimming: corrected posture and expanding lung capacity for breathing. Im still proud. My right shoulder blade got hurt over this year and I swam a lot, idk how but I am really glad the benefits of swimming can do that. Just able to master breast strokes techniques, hoping to learn more strokes techniques. While most of my friends does jogging, I genuinely do well under water. Swimming is just very cathartic. I like the sense of drowning.

I joined Cronometer, the free version, so I'm able to track what I'm eating and drinking every day. That makes it easier to understand what I need more or less of. And using the resistance band...it looks easy but it's like pulling on a massive rubber band. I can feel the soreness in my arm muscles already.

Idk how the hell to get an abs already. I do workout 10-20 minutes every other day, and I am already skinny so it shouldn't be hard yet I'm struggling to get any muscle.

I'm going to make a long story short. I haven't been able to walk without either crutches or a cane for awhile now. Combine that with a lot of other things in the last 2 years and I am huge. To the point I nearly didn't want to video chat with my friend for my birthday because I am embarrassed by how fat I've become.

My doctor released me for light exercise on Friday, and he clearly specified what that meant (fearing I would overdo it I'm sure). So today I engaged in yoga for the first time EVER in my life. I am committed to doing it everyday this week. I won't commit beyond that, as I personally need short goals or I loose the plot.

I have lost about 3Kg in the last week. I am back on the diet & am serious about it now. So I am about 97Kg and want to get down to 75-80Kg. I am confident I will get there! I usually eat a bowl of veggies in the evening and have two diet shakes during the day (one in the morning and one at night). It's a strict diet but it has worked for me before, really well.

Feeling positive!!

I went out for a longer walk yesterday. No jogging as it was too warm to do that for me while wearing a daypack. 12 k. That's just over 7 miles
I was pleasantly surprised because my ability to do hills has improved. My feet feel a little tired now so tomorrow will be a rest day.
