Love Dolls themselves seems like the closest way someone could relieve severe loneliness and deep social problems. If they 'rarely - if ever' have intercourse with them, it just shows it's a very deep psychological problem. At the same time, that doesn't mean that they are dangerous to society, however it definitly isn't healthy. I feel sorry for anyone who might have to satisfy their empty hearts with things like this.
While is commonly judged that anything out of the normal is 'psycho', that's not to say these people are. There was something in the newspaper awhile back, that there was a man who had turned a young girl into a vegetable. No, not one you consume, rather a living, breathing, yet unconscious human. Apparently he was in his late thirties, and had severe socia problems. He had some of these 'doll's, however it gone awry when he chose a real person to become a vegetable.
I don't remember EXACTLY what it said, but I believe he made a cavitiy in the victims head, and poured a hot liquid over it. Something along the lines of that left the being alive, breathing, but unable to act, talk, think, or move on their own. Rather, it's just a doll like others, except it's a real human. I don't remember what he was charged with. It was some time ago.
Regardless, I believe that if anyone has to buy one of these to numb the pain they feel, I don't believe they are 'blood thirsty serial killer', yet just someone in great need. Though I'm not saying what that man did in that incident was right, because he took someone's life away.
These dolls seem like a safer way to cure those feelings of loneliness, however it will only ever be cured with genuine human contact. But the way the world views and makes things appear, it's very difficult for some people to fit in. It's painful think about, what those people must go through.
Every minute of everyday, knowing there ain't any smiles coming your way.
