i havent worked out in the past weeks.. at all.. No time and I kinda grown bored of it.. weight lifting just isnt really that important to me...
I want to start running.. A friend already recommended buying new (odd) shoes: Its basically like a shoe with toes. the concept is that its supposed to feel like youre not wearing shoes or something..
Oh and I want to bring my dog along when running. One downside is just that running makes him super dirty...
And I want to start praticing martial arts again (probably wont end up doing it due to lack of time :(

anyway, wishing you all a great day/morning/evening

Thanks for the tag @sassy123 ! Hi everyone! I did okay. I am going to keep up my weekly routine.
Cardio - 5x
Weights - 3x
Lots of fruits and veggies - Last night I roasted some Brussels sprouts. Yummy!
Water - I am really struggling with this. I purchased some sparkling water and that helped some.

Good luck, everyone!

I have seen those shoes, they look so funny but are supposed to be really comfy!

I didn't know that, about the salmon. Thanks for the tidbit @BlueGreen
I don't know if that's helpful because we all react to different things and my nutritionist thought it might just be because my body is very reactive to everything, but I guessed it was something specific. I took it out of my diet and my lips are back to normal. I just have to try different types of fish now to see if that's ok but I don't fancy going through that again!

I'm not crazy about sprouts but that sounds interesting. How did you cook them @kat319?

Thanks for the tag, great thread.

Going to try and have a healthy eating routine this month, going to try and taste some foods I have never tasted, sounds exciting doesn't it? We should always try a chance of scenery with our diets too, as it can get boring and we just go through the motions.

Good luck to everyone with their goals. *stars

I miraculously decreased my coffee consumption last month. From 3 to 5 cups a day, but also the constant yearning for one lol, I now drink two cups, sometimes only 1. The strange thing is I don't even want to drink more... Like, the thought of it makes me eeew. No idea how I did that. *dunno2

Congrats, do you find a decrease in anxiety and stress?

haha More like the opposite I think, and additional headaches. x) But even if it is caused by less caffeine, I wanted to drink less of it and my body will just have to adjust. ;)

Also, good luck for everyone with their goals! ♡ I'll eternally hope to get back to exercise, but let's be real - I won't. :P Perhaps only walking outside when the days get warmer.

Awww *console Yeah, the headaches are most likely down to the reduction in caffeine, that is the most common withdrawal symptom, good luck with your body adjusting :)

Cut them in half. Then toss with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, paprika, and turmeric. Roast at 450 until they are a little crispy.

Sometimes roast them with red peppers and eat them like a salad with fresh tomatoes on a bed of lettuce (balsamic vinaigrette dressing).

I roasted some last night before I saw your reply - I just did them in olive oil with salt and pepper. They were ok, quite nice so I'll definitely try with the peppers. I have to watch the vinegar and spices but i might try just a touch. Have you tried roast cabbage? I'm a bit obsessed with it at the moment. It's at the bottom of this page - https://www.theguardian.com/lifeand...bbage-aubergine-rice-fritter-yotam-ottolenghi I tried it as it is but you can leave out whichever ingredients you want and it's still good. I just go for the lemon zest/juice, oil, salt and pepper mostly if I'm in a hurry. The burnt bits are the best!
