Ok yeah wow @Auri That's a lot. So you get used to your own car but then need to perfect the driving in theirs. No wonder it's so difficult to pass right away. It makes sense. It takes a few minutes to get used to driving a car you're not used to. If I was using someone else's car I would drive it around a side street - slam on the brakes, brake lightly, shift, accelerate, fiddle with all the stuff. Get to know it a bit before I went out in it and you don't get that chance with the instructor there.
Is this your second shot taking it on Friday?

If you really really want it, you can take your own car, it's just not in their benefit, and not in yours cause they say "straight away they don't like you if you have your car". And as my mean instructor says when I'm getting used to a new car in the first 5 minutes : "If you deserve a driver's license, it isn't only for your car." *grr LOL
I've been driving my own since January 2018, almost daily, and drove a few of their cars a few times. Now I'm much better so I can switch, except for parking, that's a bit difficult for me.

Yes, it's my second shot. If I fail, I need to take 6 more hours at the driving school, which costs the skin of one's ass. Then my provisional license will get expired, it's a mess... But I'm practically sure I will fail. I'm not having the best week. Meh...

I think you'll do better than you think.

I can't see that happening. You're too smart for that.
Oh, sweetie. Thank you for believing in me ^^ I meant my mental health can deceive me. There are days I am all shaky, can't concentrate or see properly, and it's difficult not to make a single mistake when I drive. Sometimes I have to stop my car and relax for a while. I can't do that on the test :(

I get that. You can't control your anxiety. But you have to try to think like it won't happen because if you automatically believe it will, then it probably will.

Yes, you are right, I say that because I can't help but think rationally.

Though I know I will freak out the day before, and I'm slowly getting there everyday. The first time, I thought I would kill myself on the spot the day before, it was horrible (but it was October, I had no meds and was in the middle of crisis), then at the exam I truly did my best and felt almost good. My driving skills were just not enough back then. :)

I will try my best to relax, in between my oral exam in German on Thursday evening and the driving test Friday morning ^^

I know it was kind of a hypocritical thing to say. "Try to relax". It doesnt ever fully work. But truthfully, when I'm panicking, that's all I can do is pretend like I'm okay enough to function because if I blatantly freak out, it makes it ten times worse on me with no chance of feeling better at all.

It's not hypocritical to give advice if you admit you don't follow them yourself :p Yes, it is much easier to say than to do, but I will try to minimize the negative effects on myself to be at my best on Friday :)

I will drive the car of the exam tomorrow. Also, I don't have access to any other car than mine *bleh
Good luck, not that you need it.

During my test in 2017, I made needless errors in judgment out of sheer nervousness and self-doubt, but I passed with knowledge and experience alone.

You’ll outdo your expectations, I believe.

Thank you, I appreciate your message. My judgement is also strongly influenced by the opinion and comments of my "bullying" instructor. We shall see, I guess.

Is your instructor also the upcoming assessor?
No, the assessor is someone random I have never met. This instructor is the best to prepare for tests, that is why I wanted her, but she makes people cry. lol
