I'm sorry @KM76710. hugs, if you want.
I've babbled and tipped over my thoughts, writing so many posts and feeling strongly about myself and others' situations here on sf. When the topic came up there in the cab, well I didn't know what to say to the taxi driver. To convey how I felt, especially as I was just a passenger and didn't even know him; everything can feel like it's slipping through one's fingers. I wanted to tell him he's important to the world and not alone, that for various reasons I also am at times suicidal. But I might have alarmed him, jumping into such intensity like that. I tried to say to keep trying.

No babbling at all from you @seabird it is great to have and express your feelings and opinions especially when so many like this one is shared by so many. It is tough on so many and great of you to have the compassion to try and share it with others. I hope you always have that characteristic to speak out when something moves you to.

I was in a conversation with the taxi driver today, and it surprised me when he said that he doesn't want to ever retire, he wants to just drop dead one day. Basically he said he can't visualise himself retired or in that stage of life, and not in the elderly stage either, and doesn't plan to allow it.

Made me wonder how many people I see at shops or wherever are carrying around feelings of despair.
I had planned on being dead at around 50. Considering how badly I have cared for myself it made sense. No old age. No horrors of failing body and mind and finances. But here I am. Still waiting to be called home. So much on our plans and wishes.

Long time ago I had a friend/partner who used to say something similar. He didn't care properly for himself either, but it was an addiction to risk and other drugs like mescaline. He crashed his plane at 41. There's no rhyme or reason, at least none that I have found .

The way influencers attribute mental health to a journey, like it’s some fair-weather, clout chasing adventure, when for real people without a stupefying social media following, who nobody cares about, it’s like being frozen in time, heaving one long, blood-curdling cry for help that goes unheard for all eternity!

*eye twitches*

Anyway, things are going pretty well for me.

Like, go ahead and talk about the time you felt a little anxious or whatever, because you think it makes you more interesting. Or the depression you pretend to have because it completes your “aesthetic.”

Just be aware that not wanting to fight about it doesn’t mean that people can’t see what you’re doing. And that people with actual problems are rolling their eyes and thinking you’re a fucking idiot.

It’s the equivalent of stubbing your toe and thinking that qualifies you to talk to cancer patients about physical health.

I thought I'd be dead before 30. Then started taking care of myself and thought I'd be healthy for a lot longer than I ended up being.... Had visions of myself still running at 100. Now not sure if I will make it to 60.

Why is it that when I finally find a psychiatrist whose company I actually enjoy, all of the sudden he’s in a rush to disappear out of my life? I mean, come on! It’s like the universe conspired to take away the good in my life just as soon as I found it. I can’t even make this shit up. First he goes on sabbatical for months and can no longer see patients in person. Then, at long last, the day before I was originally scheduled to see him, I hear from a receptionist as a side note that he’s just gone from the practice, which is the equivalent of saying “Oh, by the way, go fuck yourself.”

Why do people think contrails are the government spraying chemicals on us?
Because they’re not very bright. Everyone knows the government puts their chemicals in the water supply. Any drug addict could tell you that spraying stuff in the air is a horrifyingly inefficient way to get people to take it in.

If I ever find out that contrails are actually chemtrails, first thing I’m doing is having a chat with my representative about waste. Then we can talk what those chemicals actually do.
